Horrific service. Lots of excuses for missed or rescheduled appointments. One appliance took 4 visits to fix. Another appliance 11 visits, 7 parts, and was out of service for 2 1/2 months. They don't care. They don't prioritize you if your appliance is down for an extended period of time. Filing escalations are a joke because no one contacts you. At one point a Case Manager was assigned and he was snarky, rude, and unhelpful. He simply wanted to get the case off his desk the same day received it and told us...QUOTED..."You just have to deal with the system." I was shocked. Its clear technicians are not trained well. All were constantly on their phones doing the troubleshooting we'd already attempted. The headache and inconvenience they cause aren't worth any product price savings you may receive on the actual item. It's worth it to pay a little more for the item from a competitor and use their extended services. For example, we purchased a washer and dryer combo from another big box retailer and when a problem occurred, someone was out within 2 days to fix it. With Geek Squad, we were forced to wait up to 2 weeks in between the repair appointments PLUS 3 additional were either canceled or rescheduled. That is not OK. Save your sanity! Go elsewhere.

Definitely something you should purchase when buy other products. They help you whenever it’s needed especially if you have any issues with the products.

I purchase the protection plan on every product. I’ve used it recently and was completely satisfied. Even during the pandemic, they had outstanding service.

The price for the protection plan was very competitive, and I have heard nothing but good about Geek Squad service. We used to shop at Sears, but their service, which was once top notch, is now terrible.

Haven't needed to use yet but with a big purchase good to have. Manufacturers warranty usually a year so good to have on hand
