Great products to purchase from Best Buy! Excellent service

I bought 5 years of protection as it broke down to $90 per year which seemed reasonable. Just got the unit installed and it is working fine. Hope I don't have to use the policy for a long time.

Best buys always offers great option when it comes to protecting your investment. The geek squat protections is above and beyond. I give it a 10.

Spacious, Beautiful, and Exceptionally Functional.

This is a difficult product to review, as I have not really used the service other than to get a technician's assistance in verifying what I had discovered to be an irregularity in the construction of the product (an electric range) it was purchased for. In all honesty, I was not satisfied with that technician's level of knowledge in relation to the subject matter. If not for the condition being minor I would have otherwise decided not to purchase the service, and instead gone with the manufacturer's Service Plan.

Spacious and Efficient Fridge, that is energy efficient. It's very easy to use and has the craft ice feature, that makes long lasting round ice for any occasion. The look through glass door is very convenient and has the feature of three taps to the glass and it turns the inside light. The water and ice dispenser is very easy to use and better than the old style, it also has a led ring light around it that is helpful as a night light in the kitchen.

Love my Frig! Happy we decided to replace all our appliances with LG brand. We have NOT had to use the Geek Squad Service because we've had absolutely no problems with any of the appliances we've bought. I did a lot of research reading reviews on different brands. Even though some stated having issues with LG brand it was no different than any other brand having some issues as well. Decided on this refrigerator because it fit the measurements we needed. Wanted the Geek Squad Service just in case it would be needed as refrigerators like other appliances these days all have computer boards and don't last as long as the old-days appliances.

I added this 5 year protection service for piece of mind on my LG Dishwasher. I already have 1 yr full and 10 yr on the motor by LG. But it does not cover all the in between after the 1st year. Just like any insurance, it's nice to have and hope you don't have to use it, but if you do, you are glad you got it. Repairs out of pocket is very pricey. Just the service call pays the cost of the premiums. Geek Squad will fix it or replace it. Can't go wrong with that.

The service was great with the removal and installation of the new dishwasher.

I love this refrigerator/freezer with french doors and icemaker. The price was perfect, not over the edge. If you are in the maerket for a nerw refrigerator/freezer, this is the one to buy. Oh, almost forgot, it has a water filter, you can purchase one and set it up for automatic billing and they will send it however many months you request.

All the features of this microwave is worth it! The hood exhaust works fantastic. Only disappointed to why didnt get 5 stars is because the one piece that rotates the plate was damaged and I ended using the one from my precious microwave that gave me the C-do error. Had to replace it with the newer version. I definitely rexommend if you get this you should definitely vent it to outside!

Since 20012 we have been using the Geek Squad Protection warranty and I have to say, it is worth its weight in gold. The 2 year warranty really doesn't cover the major appliances so always go 5 on those. Yes, it does cost a bit extra but you can not go wrong. More times than not, when something goes off the rails they just replace it. Love it.

We had to call Geek Squad for a warranty repair on our dishwasher. Phone call was simple and a tech was sent in a few days. Tech quickly diagnosed the part issue. The replacement part was installed and the repair was finished in under 5 minutes.

Any other warranties at any other stores I almost always skip. Warranty is usually pain to deal with. Where's the receipt? Who do I call? Is it actually covered? Will they honor it? Most of the time no. BUT NOT WITH BEST BUY. SO EASY AND GEEK SQUAD IS QUICK, CONVENIENT & COOPERATIVE. I ALWAYS PURCHASE WARRANTIES AT BEST BUY. THEY ACTUALLY COVER STUFF, IMAGAINE THAT. Only suggestion for best buy is to maybe offer a geek squad subscription. Mayb yearly subscriptions OR 3 OR 5YR subscription to geek squad. That would cover everything I buy at best buy. I have geek squad for laptop, arlo, dishwasher, receiver & headphones. Still need carpet cleaner. New car radio & washer dryer. Would love to just purchase a geek squad subscription to cover all. That would be AWESOME!

I purchased Greek Squad support plan for my microwave. It is easy to get appointment for service. However, my microwave had issue and the support person told me it costs more to fix and did not do anything. So I am not sure if it is worth it to pay for the plan.

This package was an essential one for my purchase. The protection plan is one you hope will never be needed.

My old dishwasher (GE) only lasted 4 years before it went dead (and then dead once again!). I didn't have a Service Contract, so was forced to diagnose and replace electronics without any expertise with dishwashers. So with the new dishwasher, even though it is a top-of-the-line Bosch that has a reputation for reliability, I feel much better with a 5-year Extended Warranty.
