    Best Buy Warranty

    The store needs to do a better job in regard to the store warranty coverage. Had an issue with our fridge not being level. I called and was told that I needed to contact the manufacturer because the fridge was under warranty with them. The manufacturer sent out a repair man and he told me that it was the delivery men's responsibility to level the fridge and I should have called Best Buy. Be careful buying extended warranties from Best Buy because the coverage for the fridge overlapped with the first year of coverage from the manufacturer.

    I bought this as an open box at Best Buy, and have had nothing but problems. The first one would overheat, etc. Whirlpool told me to unplug it. Exchanged for this one. This is the second one, but same model. It freezes all of my produce in the drawers no matter what I do. Waste of money. Although the staff tried hard to accommodate me when the first one had problems, their hands are tied from Best Buy. They can only do so much. I would never ever buy another open box or any appliance from Best Buy again. Off to shop for another fridge AGAIN. Hasn't even been a year.

    Replaced my almost 3 year-old LG fridge at no char

    I was certainly glad I had this coverage when my 2020 fridge began repeatedly failing after two years. In the end, after many, many frustrating phone calls, service visits and a difficult period dealing with Best Buy, their insurer, AIG, and the most difficult partner--LG-- I was given the full cost of my LG fridge to apply toward any available fridge at Best Buy. I was able to buy a great fridge, a new 5-year extended warranty, pick-up and installation and still have about $75.00 remaining, which was given to me as a gift card. The process was not easy but it worked and I know have a new fridge that I'm very happy with. The most frustrating part was dealing with world-wide call centers. Everyone was helpful but there was lots of dropped calls and inaccurate info.

    Geek Squad Rocks Service Replacement of New Refrig

    Within a day of having our new refrigerator placed, we realize that something may have happened to the refrigerator during shipping to Best Buy. It was very simple and easy to contact Best Buy to get a new refrigerator to replace ours. The geek squad came out did their job and sent somebody to make sure that the job was handled correctly in addition to amazing technicians. I cannot recommend enough about getting a warranty with your appliances.

    Glad it was avaliablefor my new GE frig. . I had service plan on my Whirlpool frig that died just after 4 years, lost refrigerant compressor died. Another service plan did pay.

    I purchased the Geek Squad with our new refrigerator because I neglected to do that with our Samsung fridge and had nothing but problems. My new GE Profile has been great but I know I have the Geek Squad protection if I need it! What a great feeling!

    2 Months, Defective Handle

    I purchased the Bouch dishwasher this year and love it. So when my old fridge started to have problems I bought the matching black stainless fridge. While it was delivered promptly, the repair men did not hook up water or ice, saying that the line I needed was to long. (Ok?) When they left they left a big oil in my driveway stain from their truck (I left a message to let them know). Afterwards, I opened the handle to the Fridge door and it popped off the hinge. A new repair service was ordered weeks later. I was told the very specialisted part needed to secure the handle was never installed. He didn't have it, but told me he would request it shipped or I could go to the "hardware store" and get something as close as possible and try to do it my self. I requested the part be mailed. It has been 2 months, no part, no customer service follow up. I paid over three thousand dollars ($3000) for a fridge with detached handle.

    I love the refrigerator I purchased at Best Buy although once getting it home I realized I needed a wider front door but was able to work magic with only a couple standard tools was able to easily take doors and drawers off and we now have a new family member that also is insured at a low cost. Hope to enjoy it for years to come.

    GREAT SERVICES AGAIN !!! I had purchased a refrigerator about a couple weeks ago and feel very satisfied with the team people from BEST BUY Company. I returned and made another purchase afterwards … a dryer and also received another excellent services from your team of employees at your Mira Mesa company. Definitely I shall continue to make my purchases from your company when I needed of something and also refer your services to my friends on your reputation . Thank you !

    I really like getting the extra warranty for my products I really do not care for Allstate but I guess somebody else had to take over from the other company that screwed us selves over I just hope Best Buy stays on top of things and make sure when a person needs to get a new product with their warranty that they keep doing what they've always done for me and take care of me because I actually love going to Best Buy and buying things I hate buying crap off-line

    OUTSTANDING!! They were prompt, accomodating, and very very nice. Ron and the other gentleman that came answered all my questions and were incredibly helpful. Can't say enough great things about this team. I was apprehensive after reading the online reviews and seeing horrible install pictures, but my experience was the opposite. (Maybe it's because they were not subcontractors and actual Geek Squad techs.) I would give them 10 stars if I could.
