If there's a power surge or fluctuation that damages your product, we'll make things right. This includes a surge caused by a lightning strike.
We'll reinstall your product.
After we resolve what’s wrong with your refrigerator or freezer, we'll reinstall it if we originally installed it.
You can transfer your Geek Squad Protection.
When you sell or give someone your covered product, Geek Squad Protection is still in effect, with no additional charges or restrictions. Call 1-800-433-5778 to transfer.

- A: AnswerAfter delivery, I was emailed a "link" to see my "Geek coverage". I did not receive any paperwork about the maintenance agreement at the store when I made my purchase. Don't know if this helps??

- A: AnswerDefinitely not through Geek Squad as their coverage does NOT include anything cosmetic. Furthermore, if the product is still under MFG warranty, having geek squad come out to look at the unit will result in a service fee. Reread your contract. Maybe if you contact the manufacturer you might get some help...

A: AnswerYes, your warranty and extended warranty (Geek Squad Protection Plan) if purchased goes into effect on the date of delivery. Although, any issues within the first year must be resolved through the manufacturer. This basically means your first year Geek Squad protection plan is for nothing. Even though you paid for year 1, you technically can't use the plan until the 2nd year.Answered by Xmen
- A: AnswerContacted GE after the replacement refrigerator was delivered. They told me they would of replaced the refrigerator, the only cost would be the delivery cost. Contacted Best Buy and they told me that if I excercised the GE replacement not the best-buy replacement they would have extended the warranty. Nice to know after the fact. Curious…. I bet happy senior who responded to my question is a employee of Best Buy? so knowledgeable … Bottom line the $ 400 I paid for piece of mind was a rip off.

A: AnswerI just called them to renew our protection plan on our fridge that I thought expired on purchase date, but does not expire until installation date, and they informed me that the Geek Squad protection plan will automatically renew on the Best Buy Credit card annually at $99. I don't know if I set this up at purchase or if this is the norm if you use a Best Buy Credit Card. Hope this helps.Answered by Anonymous

Geek squad & Best Buy team!
|I love BEST BUY, and their whole Geek Squad team! They instilled are TV and tv bracket mount. They also delivered and set up our new fridge. We have been members for over 6 years. If you can’t get a Best Buy credit card, they have another option, called the progressive leasing. It is great, I have used them 3 times. They are awesome too! This is how we were able to buy what we needed for our new home. We just moved to Moreno Valley and all of this was set up all in one day!!

Sometimes things happen. They supposed to show
|We bought this refrigerator the first time and it went out. It was covered by American homeshield at the time but we went back to Best Buy and purchased the same refrigerator. Thank you, Best Buy.

Great Buy!!
|This is one of the only fridges that gives you the side doors on the fridge and 2 drawers for the freezer in a 33 inch width instead of the standard 35” width. The fridge and freezer have worked out flawlessly and we are extremely happy with he way it has performed. To boot, it is definitely a sleek contemporary looking fridge. For the price, you cannot beat the value.
