I can count on Geek Squad for any help with this open box item!

Bestbuy is at the top of the hill when it comes to customer service and honoring warranties.

I can't recommend Geek Squad Warranties (or TotalTech) on large appliances. Their scheduling is a mess. First, they try setting up an appointment for a Geek Squad employee to come on Tuesday. They're supposed to call on Monday to set up a time window. They never called and never showed. So I called back on Wednesday and now they scheduled it with a third-party company. When I say "schedule", that just means Geek Squad sends them a request. The schedule is actually up to the other company, but they called to work out the real schedule. When the third party company arrives, they tell me they don't work with Geek Squad warranty. Geek Squad needs to send one of their own technicians, not from a third party company. When I call Geek Squad back and tell them the whole story, they just try scheduling with the third party company again. Round and round we go. Ask for a supervisor; sometimes that helps.

no brainer for any big purchase.....5 years for less then $130.....less then $30 a month

Best Buy has always treated me great and took care of me when I had a problem. Always going to purchase the geek squad on everything I purchase. Worth the money

No nonsense protection plan. Your item fails and it is replaced or you are given the value of its cost as store credit.

I’m covered if anything happens... fridge was over 3500 and only came w 1yr warranty... all it takes is one little issue ... if it happens I’m covered
