The 3-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection is great. I have protection on all my BEST BUY products. It is one of the best and the Geek Squad follows through with problems when necessary.

They were very professional and right on time. They took about 15-20 minutes and my fridge was all set up!

Never leave the store without this warranty. Especially on big ticket items. Best Buy is hassle free when it comes to standing behind the warranty.

Beware of these service plans, these types of "warranties" seem harder and harder to use. I have normally purchased my large appliances from Best Buy because of the service plans, but I am considering going elsewhere in the future. Fridge has been having an issue and I called to get the fridge serviced, they tell me that the fridge has a warranty with the manufacturer for 10 years parts and 5 years labor. I spent two hours trying to get ahold of Whirlpool and finally talking to them they confirm that but the warranty does not cover the service call to see what is wrong with the fridge, so I am geek squad tells me this time they won't authorize the service call without a RMA number that I need to get from the manufacturer, so I have to waste more time now to get this information. I was a big believer of Best Buy and Geek Squad, this has changed by this whole experience.

I always add the Geed Squad Protection on major items. Their service is great and I have peace of mind. Even new items sometimes need attention.

NOthing more important than a best buy protection. YOu don't need to go through all the hazzle to contact local repair.

Definitely need this. My LG refrigerator had a problem with the motor 2 years later. Geek Squad replaced it at no charge.

The geek squad 5 year protection plan is a great plan . Simple to use.
