Haven't had to use. But just in case something goes wrong I will be covered

I very happy I purchased this insurance and it gives me peace of mind knowing I'll be ok if my fridge breaks down.

Bought 3-year warranty for "Whirlpool - 28.4 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator - Stainless steel" for $1725 plus $129 GeekSquad warranty on April 4, 2020. Water dispenser and Ice Maker failed after 30 days. Appear to be defective. Water dispenser outputting 1/8 the measured amount. Water freezing solid in bottom of Icemaker (dispenser) box makes the dispenser arm freeze solid and not turn. Outside of Return Period now. I called and scheduled support. I was booted to Whirlpool support by BestBuy Customer Support. Original scheduler said if it is not covered by warranty I would be charged $180 for service call. I am livid. Serviceman is supposed to show up tomorrow. Warranty Support Scheduling transferred me to GeekSquad Support at 6:30 PM. Phone said 16 minute wait. At 8:05 PM I go to LiveChat" and it says: "You've reached us outside of our business hours. Please chat with us tomorrow between the hours of 8am-7pm CT." Neither Whirlpool Service Department or BestBuy will tell me who's going to pay for fixing this defective product. Don't know who's going to pay for this, but it will NOT be me. I will NOT recommend Geek Squad for anything until they remedy this warranty situation.
