    Basically $400 for a 1 day warranty

    Paid almost $400 for 5 year warranty. Ge refrigerator died 1 day after manufacturer warranty expired. 1 year and 1 day. Replaced refrigerator then cancelled balance of warrant. Expected new refrigerator to carry over balance of warranty, 4 years, NOT!!!! 1 claim, warranty cancelled. Basically paid $ 400 for a 1 day warranty.

    Was very disappointed when trying to use it for our Samsung ice maker. We were told when purchased that if the fridge was deemed not fixable, they would give us a new fridge, but later when we had ice maker issues, they said their coverage changed and didn't cover ice makers. I argued that we should are grandfathered because we bought it based on their old rules and finally got a new fridge.

    Not quite what they sell you. They will tell you how easy it is to make a claim. Then you are suck with a broken fridge for a month before GS actually does anything about it.

    takes a week to get an appointment for a broken freezer and then they don't show. takes another week to reschedule

    The sale pitch was if not fixable they'll replace new one it's NOT TRUE! Yes I bough open box but the fridge was mfg defects they refuse replace new one I have to pay the difference if new one

    Water dispenser leaks all over floor, and since day one the ice cubes are way too small and taste HORRIBLE

    Hired service agency that sent person in training.Talked with a person on phone to figure out problem which he could not solve.I figured out the next day that the ice maker was building up with ice which enabled it to function.

    I purchased the Geek Squad service plan for my stove but when my stove did not work straight out the box Geek Swuaid said "not our problem" and told me to call Samsung. They did give me the Samsung repair number before QUICKLY hanging up on me. Additionally, I've used this service on a number of my purchases in the past. Whenever I actually need to use it it's always an issue- lines are too long, that one issue is not covered, etc. Save your money and use your savings to buy a new one IF it breaks.

    Steven in executive resolutions has been treating my issue with the fridge horribly! Food spoiled and liquids exploded due to the fridge freezing and the freezer thawing. I was lied to by the rep over the phone that this was a garage fridge now a month and a half later Best Buy has done nothing to fix the issue! Not even replacing $439.00 worth of lost food and still not fixed!

    They are slow, takes forever just to make a appointment. They want this and they want that, I am like just come out and fix my fridge. Want serial # I already gave them date, account # and order #. Just a complete hassle to try and get items fixed when they go down.

    Yay I buy a 5000 fridge and get their plan 6 months later it’s making a huge mess w the ice maker so I call geek squad to come and fix spend a good hr on the phone with the them to tell me their awesome 3 year plan doesn’t cover anything on the first year !!! Stupid me

    This is a waste of money, I had to refuse delivery of the refrigerator , now the geek squad does not want to give me back a refund for the warranty I purchased. I do not recommend.
