5 years Extra warranty for a huge kitchen appliances investment

I buy them on every product has a history of failure.

I haven't used this service yet but it's nice to know I have it when I need it. My refrigerator has a 1 year warranty so I'd like to keep it longer than that and that's why I purchased this service.

I paid $250 for this 5 year plan, my refrigerator has failed twice, Best Buy wouldn’t come out for a week (which resulted in it growing mold), couldn’t resolve the issue, and is refusing to even process my food spoilage claim. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and have literally laughed at me telling me to continue to email my claim form, which I’ve been doing for 6 weeks. I’ve spoken to 10+ agents now who won’t help in any way. Complete waste of money and I’m out $500+ worth of food as a single mother of 3 kids and an appliance that continues to fail with zero support from Best Buy.
