It was an LG smart TV, and I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stream any internet channel I wanted (couldn't download new ones that weren't on the TV, or at least I could figure out how to in the 2 weeks I had it). I am much happier with this product. The Roku part of it allows me to search, download, and stream any channel that I want, which is good since I don't have cable hooked to this TV.
