Great smart tv for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for a home gym and wall mounted. So far it's working great. Helps when doing cardio and the built in Roku is nice and reduces wires needed since we don't have cable. We only use Netflix and Hulu.

Great Multi Purpose TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This smart TV has a variety of uses and performs well in many areas. The 32" model has very low input lag when Game Mode is turned on which is very helpful for fast paced gaming. Other apps like YouTube, Twitch, and ESPN can be streamed with stunning quality. All around excellent purchase at a reasonable price

Ok for it’s intended purpose
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok for what we bought it for - traveling in the motorhome - hooked up dvd player & game system - only thing we don’t like is it doesn’t easily Bluetooth with iPhones to play internet content (you tube etc)

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV for a Daycare playroom. This tv shipped very fast and was super easy to set up. I read reviews and was a little worried that it would take me a long time to set up, but it was less than 15 minutes from start to finish. Mind you that I only set it up with Netflix.

Cheaply made and bad customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace an old dead tv. First one was DOA (after initial set up) it kept rebooting and starting itself. I returned it right away and got another. This one seems to work okay but the remote volume button barely works (you have to press very hard to turn up the volume to get it to work and got worse). I contacted Insignia using the warranty (about 2 months old), they said they'd be happy to send me a replacement. The remote is not a Roku ready Insignia replacement but a cheap universal remote that is large, bulky with hard to figure out buttons that don't match settings on the TV. I complained but Insignia never got back to me. I have a working TV (thus 2 stars) but wouldn't buy another one.

GREAT TV FOR KIDS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect tv, apps and overall curb appeal for any age but especially young kids. It's cheap, effective and seems to have plenty of hook ups for future expansion The Roku app is flawless inside the tv and works great with my old Nintendo 64 and the newest Apple TV. Recommend!

Good picture, decent sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, so good. I have had this TV for about a month now. It was easy to set up. I did not realize it would be a Roku with a TV rather than a TV with Roku. Whenever you turn it on, it immediately goes to Roku and within the menu is the actual TV. I bought this mainly to replace an older TV which was struggling to tune in stations via the antenna. I have seen some improvement but it, for some reason, is still not 100% good on receiving antenna. I live within a city with open view to broadcast towers. I use a basic TV antenna (purchased separately).

Software update made my TV unusable - DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the interest of being fair, I will say that this TV is a great product at a great price (when it works). The Roku functionality makes it super easy to use from a user experience perspective, and the picture quality is better than average in this price range. HOWEVER, I will never again buy an Insignia TV, nor should you. In the beginning of November 2018, a software update was deployed automatically that caused an issue with the sound quality and also made the internet connection highly unstable. When I turn on the TV, the sound is muffled. To fix the issue, I have to got to the settings window, change the sound mode, then change the sound mode back to "Normal" and the sound is back to sounding fine. As for the Internet connection, it constantly drops while watching streaming services. I have a great fiber connection to my house and an excellent router setup, and have confirmed that the issue is not with my home internet connection. But still, a few times a day the connection drops, and I need to unplug the TV to reset the connection. I have been working with Insignia support for over a month on this, with promises that a software update would come out to fix the issues. Every update that has come out since then has not fixed the issue. I'm still waiting for it to be resolved. This TV is eight months old. It should not be having these issues. Insignia will not replace it despite being within the warranty period. As I said before, DO NOT BUY THIS TV.

Good TV for Black Friday Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid less than $100 for a TV for kids. It is a Roku TV so limited options of Apps. 3 HDMI inputs and 1 audio output. It is 780p resolution TV, but frankly you don't need higher resolution for a 32" TV. Decent picture quality and sound good enough for small room.

Good Bang for the Buck
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I like the TV. The picture is good and the sounds, while not great, is what I would expect for a TV in this price point. We got it for the bedroom and it's perfect. The only annoyance is that you NEED the remote that comes with it nearby. When the TV is turned on, you need to use the remote to tell the TV if you will be watching Hulu, Netflix, etc AND if you just want to watch regular TV via satellite or cable. It's kind of annoying that I have to have both my TV and DirecTV remote just to turn on the TV. Still, if I were cutting the cord, this would be a perfect interface.

Do NOT buy for streaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is good for antenna and HDMI viewing. HORRIBLE for streaming. It will stream for awhile, then drop internet connection. Found out this is a KNOWN issue. Also, intermittently turns on close captioning when it feels like it, usually when going from streaming back to antenna. Have an oen warranty ticket that I am getting nowhere with as far as getting it replaced. When it DOES work, good picture and sound.

Works well... until power events...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This television has a great degree of ease of setup, and for the time I've owned it, it worked great. Then a power outage and almost immediate surge hit. This was connected to a grounded suppressor, but the television itself is ungrounded. Since the power was restored, a row of noise pixels 7 pixels tall will display, only when receiving input from a PC source. I'd repurchase this... if it were grounded. I'm not going to purchase an ungrounded electronic appliance of this nature ever again.
