problems using usb, soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When usb is plugged in antennae TV stations cut out intermittently, the "previous channel" button did not work properly on the remote. No one at store heard of these problems. Returned TV, got flack from the "customer service" person. Also, there was no way to get a "TV guide" schedule for the antennae stations. Insignia sound bar did not display a volume scale with TV speakers disabled. Really disappointed in the TV, took it back and got a Samsung.

Poor Quality TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv about a week before. Very excited and everything was good for couple of days. third day it began to crash for first time in Netflix App, then following days TV requested for wifi reconnect all of a sudden(even though network is very good in all my other devices and my 4 months old router was just below this TV) then following days there was frequent crash in Apps(will directly move to Home screen) thought this is normal for low end smart TVs and 2 days back TV restarted by itself for couple of times. May be without smart feature would have worked better. Decided to return. And bought another brand TV. Pros Very good picture clarity all in one roku remote(but still not sure if anyone want to change channels. My main use was roku) User friendly initial setup Bestbuy easy return policy Cons Poorly built quality Poor network connection Performance Old version of Roku Weak sound(even if you keep 70+ you will barely hear proper sound)

Decent TV for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Need a simple inexpensive TV in a small studio. Picture and sound quality are great. Lots of streaming channels (youtube, TED, MIT open course, CBS news etc) to choose from. Considering the price, it is a great buy. Fits the budget and need. TV itself is lightweight, so feel a little flimsy. I hope it lasts for a long time.

Great TV for a good price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased two insignia roku tv's for spare rooms that do not have cable boxes. With our paid cable subscription we are able to watch a lot of cable programming through the roku apps, as well as netflix and Amazon video. The tv's work great thus far and were easy to set up. I am pleased with the sound and picture quality. Can'the beat the price for a smart tv. Purchased open box items for a little less.

Great tv for the most part
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything works well and easy to set up. The only tiny problem is the picture is not the best quality, but still good. The volume is loud and perfect to.

Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is good but you will be way better off buying regular insignia tv and then add 2017 roku stick plus.. Your experience will be much better since stick has better processor and even pic quality is way better too. And yes stick remote is 100 times better since you don't have to point it to tv to work. 2017 stick remote also has tv power and volume control buttons and their set up is automatic. I did it both ways and way satisfied with the the stick plus then built in roku.

Great TV for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brought this Smart TV for my daughter. So far so good. Pro: The screen is clear and sound clarity is satisfactory. Love the apps. Con: My Cable Company's app does not work or play on the TV like it does on a regular Roku box. Overall you will enjoy the TV and it's very affordable.

Poor Wifi antenna connectivity
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these 32 inch on Black Friday 2017. And I also bought a 39 inch. The 39 inch works great but both the 32 inch constantly lose the WiFi Signal. Incredibly annoying. It was not the WiFI signal that was causing the problem. It is the physical placement of the WiFI module and the antenna wire in the TV. They are in the bottom of the TV with the wires wrapped around the speakers. Poor design! I am an electronics technician, I took the bottom cover off, carefully removed the WiFi module and unwrapped the wires from around the speakers. Then I left the WiFi module and antenna hang down open outside the the TV. Look at my photo, all that wire was jammed and looped around the speakers. That causes horrible interference. And that little module heats up too. I have not had 1 Wifi signal drop since doing that to both TVs. If you want a ROKU TV try to get one that has a port so you can hard wire straight to your modem. These WiFi only ROKU are a pain.

Very good tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this tv for our daughter for the bedroom. She had a Roku box in the living room and this was a good selection for the bedroom. It was very easy to set up and she has really enjoyed it. We have had several Insignia tvs and have had no complaints about any of them.

My second insignia smart tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our second time purchasing an insignia smart tv. We have a larger one in the basement and this one was for our bedroom. I love the ease and the use of Hulu and Netflix without needing additional boxes. I would definitely recommend this tv.

Not the greatest
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited for this TV because of ROK u. At first it would kick me out of what I was watching (Netflix, Viki) or disconnect, but after a day or two the connection got better. I mostly watch viki so I was happy it finally started to work. I accidentally deleted my Viki channel and have not been able to locate the channel to add it back. I've reset the tv, update my Viki account, looked online for other options and nothing! Is the Viki app no longer supported on roku tv? I find that hard to believe because I was watching it a few minutes ago and now I can't even find the channel to add it back.... did it get discontinued in those few minutes? Has anyone had a similar experience? Anyways, I've only has the TV for a week, so I'll be returning it to best buy tomorrow. Very disappointed with this purchase. Will probably get the Samsung smart TV instead.

The Roku home screen is a pain.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a tv with an option to use apps, Even though the apps are a good addition, this tv is geared more toward the apps and not tv. If you want to watch cable tv, you have to go through the Roku app home screen. The apps are the main feature of this tv. When you turn the tv on, you will automatically be on the Roku app home screen and you will have to scroll through the apps and select tv from that screen. You can't bypass his screen. It's the first thing you see when you turn the tv on. I just didn't like having to go through this screen and click on tv in order to watch my cable tv. I just wanted to turn the tv on and already be watching cable tv, with the option to view the apps when I felt like it. I took it back and got a Samsung smart tv. It doesn't have an annoying home screen. I recommend the Roku tv to anyone who's interested in the apps only.
