Speakers are much better. This tv is just SUPER for the $179.00 I paid for it on sale. I had serious issues with reception with my old tv, cutting in and out, losing channels. Same antenna, more channels, no blurred pictures, all good. Picture looks fantastic to me because I buy cheap tvs and would not know the difference to a superior tv. I love it.

I am impressed! For just a basic TV, this is perfect. Good sound, basic hookups, and great picture. I did not see a difference in picture quality between this one and my other 49" 1080p LG TV. If you're looking for a standard TV without all the bells and whistles, buy this. You won't regret it.
