Q: how good is the sound on this 39" tv !
A: Have had the tv for a few months now and the sound is working well for me.
Q: Is this a good long lasting tv?
A: This one was a Christmas gift so it is fairly new but I have another insignia in my home that I have had for about 5 years and never had any problems with it. IT has a great picture.
A: This TV is great without HD cable. No need for it. Shows and Playstation games all look great!
Q: Can I hook up DVD, CD, and a converter box?
A: Yes, you can hook every thing up to the TV we have a suround sound, DVR box and a DVD player all hooked up to the TV

A: There's no "actual" buttons. Just by touch, kinda like a smart phone on the bottom left corner
