I have not used the geek squad at this time. Have had no issues with my purchase .

For any electronic item for kids I recommend the protection plan. Hopefully won't need it but always good to have if you do.

Awesome printer...it's fast and and quality is great...the inks aren't as forgiving but the prints do it justice... If your looking to save on inks this is not the one but if quality of your preference over cost then it is...enjoy
