Used this warranty to replace a defective printer. I had no issues getting to printer replaced. Basically got a credit on the original price of the printer towards a netter printer. The only problem was dealing with the best buy geek squad person in the call center. Had to make an appointment through the person in the call center. The person at the call center was not knowledgeable and was hard to understand with a heavy accent like the call center was overseas. Once I convinced him that it was unfixable by phone and that I only wanted an appointment with the geek squad rep at my local store it was fine but it took an hour to get there. He kept asking for access to my pc to check my OS and drivers which i denied and tryed to explain to him that if was a mechanical problem with the printer and not a software issue. The printer was grinding and knocking and wouldnt initialize. Once I got to the store the geek squad rep was great. 10 minutes in and out with a new replacement printer. Its unfortunate that I had to deal with the un-knowledgeable person at the call center first. Recommend getting this warranty on high usage items like printers

Geek Squad has been assisting me with my printers for years. They are fast to set up an appointment with and always really nice and easy to find a solution.

Nothing better than the geek squad. Can in and installed my new washer asap. Super nice and right on time.

I love the geek squad. Just make sure you call and make an appointment first because you may have to wait for a long time. If they are not busy no problem. It is not a waist of money because I have used the geek squad. I did have a computer that was 10 years old. Now I am updated with a new laptop computer. I made sure I still would be covered. Thank you.

Geek Squad has been super helpful, and always honest. I've never felt like they try to take advantage of me or my situations. I happily added the product replacement to my printer purchase recently because I actually trust that something will get done if I have any issues, which is different from services I have used in the past. Thank you!

Very affordable and nice to have when things stop working or have an malfunctioning problem.

This is one product that you hope you don't need to use, but it gives peace of mind to know it is available.

I brought in my previous printer that was having problems and the Geek Squad immediately offered me a refund which I used to buy a new HP printer right away. I was able to get back to the jobs I needed to finish and print that same day. The service was friendly and efficient.

Best Buy offers the Geek Squad service on their products which when you break the cost down by year is a fantastic value, and trust me, it is well worth it should something happen that an item needs repair.

If you want to protect your investment because your budget isn't what it used to be (thanks inflation) then the extra cost of this product replacement is something you should seriously consider. I have had to use this policy once before, on a DJI gimbal I owned. After about 2 years, it started to act up, and for all intents and purposes, became useless. I took it back to Best Buy, and within a week I not only had a replacement at no additional cost, but the gimbal I received was the latest version. Definitely worth the money!

Best Buy has the best protection plans. I always recommend getting one.

My printer had a malfunction that was not operator level to fix. My warrantee with HP had just expired a month earlier. The Geek Squad tech plugged it in, found that it wasn't something that could be repaired, and when the same model was not available, provided a gift card for the replacement value. I was able to replace the printer with a slightly better one with little coming out of my pocket. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

Glad to have a warranty. Soon, I will have to utilize it because it is not printing in color like it suppose to. It will not print blue … Don’t really know how to rate but, I am confident Best Buy will help me. In the past, they have provided great customer service! That’s why I am giving Best Buy 5 Stars :)

I had to use this service once when I brought back a very expensive rug shampooer that had quit working 3 1/2 years after purchase. Best buy (Geek Squad) took it back without any problem and I receive my original payment plus taxes in FULL. You can't beat Best Buy for service to the customer.

Protection plan is very easy to use and has zero hassle. Definitely worth it for items you are worried about breaking.
