I don't really like that it's not like a full warranty. If the item gets discontinued in favor of a newer version instead of just replacing it with the newer version they give you what you paid for the original ro go toward something else. Considering Best Buy is a tech store and tech notoriously goes obsolete quickly combined with rampant inflation, the amount you spent on the previous item winds up falling quite short of the newer model. So even after the money you pay for the protection plan you probably will end up spending hundreds more to even get something comparable to what you had. In the end, I guess it still saved me a couple hundred over all but it was frustrating and disappointing. If I couldn't have afforded the difference I would have still been without a security system.

Geek Squad was great both times in a week that we needed them. Very professional. Set everything up correctly and walked me through how to use the app & system. Arrived ahead of time too. I was very pleased.

The geek squad replacement is a great produce. We had to use it one time for a television and it worked flawlessly. You might not always want it for all products but on a larger purchase it is well worth the money. I think with repair prices being what they are these days, it is actually a bargain for the price. I hope you never have to use it but it sure is nice to have if things go wrong as they sometimes do.

A must have to protect your valuable products available at Best Buy. This will help keep your mind at ease knowing you have this valuable product replacement coverage in the event an issue occurs.

Haven't had to use the protection plan yet but it's a great place of mind if anything happens I'll be covered!

I bought a tv and I add the protection plan after 3 years my tv got damaged with images retention, it tv cost me a lot of money and take to it protection plan my tv was replaced, after it have now buy it plan to everything

At the checkout the cashier asked me if I would like an extra warranty on the Ninja Foodie XL Foodie. Of course I wanted one. They were not cheap by no means. So I purchased a 4 year Replacement Warranty; to insure I could have it replaced if anything happened to it. Smartest thing I ever did! This saves me time and money in the long run! Recommend this product and the warranty to Anyone!! Very Satisfied!

i tell anyone that it is always best to purchase the 4 year geek squad product replacement protection plan because you never know when a accident may happen on a product,, anything can go wrong and it will save you lots of money for having this replacement plan. atleast i know that i am.. for no matter how little a cost my be for the product that you purchase.. same money and time

Ordered some very inexpensive headphones and added the protection. Initially thought this is probably a waste of money but it wasn’t expensive. And headphones are going to a preteen. After about 5 or 6 months of use the right earbud stop working. Took it back to Best Buy explained. Sales person said just get another pair. Got new pair so for so good, Thanks Best Buy.

Thankfully, I have never had to use these additions for my purchases. Decades ago, I did use the Geek Squad protection plan for a laptop I purchased. The free battery included with the plan (after the battery included with laptop died) was well worth the extra money spent on the plan. In my interactions with Geek Squad, I found them to be competent, friendly, professional, and easy to utilize. The good thing about BB is that every purchase you make is logged online, so there is less need to keep up with those frivolous papers that show what you purchased and when. I recommend if your purchase is more than a hundred or so bucks. It’s better to have and not need than need and not have.

I love having the geek squad protection on my items so I know that if something goes wrong all I have to do is call them up or go online and talk to someone and I know that I will get help right away from someone that knows what they are doing because when it comes to me and tech stuff I am not all that great with it but it is good when I learn new stuff all then time.

Best Buy stands behind their product replacement program. I've used it before with mostly no hassle or issues. Highly recommend this option especially with products that have mechanical moving parts or products you travel with or carry with you. Also a must for high-tech non-basic appliance models and laptops that are going off to college. The best Product Replacement plan available.
