Protection plan has always came in clutch. Im always weary of protection plans but best buys protection plans are light years ahead of most retailers. My smart lock was starting to tarnish because of it having direct sunlight hit for the better part of the day and Best Buy exchanged it for a new one!

As an ex employee I can tell you that if your going to purchase anything through Best Buy, be it computers, appliances, or anything. If it has the options get the protection plan. 9/10 Best Buy will just replace it outright if they don't want to bother with repair.

I am told what is going on, if replacement is needed or it can be fixed and the product is taken care of. It is great to know my product will be fixed and if it cannot be fixed it will be replaced.
