Ugh. I hate that traditional cameras are becoming more obsolete. I have a nice Nikon with lots of lenses but wanted something kore travel friendly. I wanted something versatile for travel!!!! Something to handle traditional portraits, landscapes, wildlife, kids Friday night ball games. After extensive research i came across this Sony bridge camera. This camera will be perfect for all of this!!! Lightweight. Lots of features including the 600 mm zoom!!! This was what drew me in. No lenses to lug around and fumble with to change. I know most people are just as happy with their cellphone camera. But even a 14 promax can not zoom in without loosing alot of photo crispness. Sorry. Cellphones are just not there yet and not worth sacrificing quality of my photos.

Love Love Love Love!!! I had got this product to start off my interest in creating a YouTube channel. Upon turning on the camera I was in love due to how well the camera automatically adjusted to my surroundings. I was walking from an indoor environment to an outdoor environment and was expecting the camera to essential "white-out" my background due to exposure. However, the camera adjusted instantly and kept me in focus. Next, I tried filming in the dark was able to see myself and my surroundings without the need of an additional light. It did all of this with its high quality photos too. Lastly, it has an amazing display focus feature so that if I am showcasing a product while recording and hold it in-front of the camera it focuses on the product and back to me as soon as I put it down. I will say, I started to look into buying this camera because everyone was posting about it. I gave in and saw it was available, so I jumped at the opportunity, and it did not disappoint. It has a ton of features and cool settings to use and make your pictures and videos pop. I also chose to buy the 4-year Geek Squad protection. When I talk to them, they are super friendly and quick to answer my questions. So far, I haven't had any major issues with the camera, just questions and they are always ready and able to help.

I recently purchased the insurance on my g7x because i’ve had great experience with it in the past. Around 2 years ago, I had a radio where the bluetooth stopped working, they found out what the problem was and fixed it immediately. Also, years years back we bought a pair of beats headphones, and they couldn’t fix them and actually upgraded them without paying the difference. I actually prefer to buy from best guy because of geek squad. it’s better then having a run around with websites and shipping from other places, i can simply make a appointment and physically go to the store.

Great product plan to buy if your like me and use your camera in environments that could cause some wear or damage. Anyway you look at it it’s a small price to pay over 4 years to know that your camera is covered no matter what. Good way to have peace of mind.

I bought a camera that was having issues when I got it. Shortly after purchase I took it in for service because the lens extended in and out and powered off and on . The malfunction ended up making it not usable. It was determined that I would receive a replacement. I am grateful and appreciate the service .

The 4 year warranty is a no brainer when purchasing a $1700 digital camera. The warranty through Geek Squad is terriffic and we have used it every year with our prior A7 Sony digital camera's. With this warranty you get a free cleaning and update to software each year. They calibrate it and send it back with it like new. We have had digital Sony Cameras purchased from BB since 2005 and have had two camera's replaced on the warranty and had every camera serviced each year under the warranty. It again is a no brainer if you intend to be serious about picture taking, and caring for your digital cameras.
