    I bought the extended plan in order to be sure I'm covered with my laptop. I'd hate to have something happen to it and not be covered.

    I dropped my brand new laptop and destroyed the power button, it didn't cost me a single cent. After the repairs the laptop was shipped right to my door.

    I don't think there's a product that I have purchased not also purchased the Best Buy warranty. The Geek Squad reps (W Lebanon, NH) have always taken care of any issues that I have had.
