    Nice protection plan for my monitor, gives me peace of mind knowing that if anything goes wrong I can bring it into Geeksquad for repair or replacement.

    Purchased with a monitor in case it were to fail after the warranty period. Quality is hit or miss these days and after seeing reviews of monitors failing after a year of use, it was more cost effective to get a warranty for repair/replacement it if it fails within 4 years.

    Always get the warranty if you're spending this much money whether it's a monitor or a console just do yourself a favor and protect it. Accidents happen.

    I've been enjoying my free Greek squad membership.And it's been a game changer.Every representative I've interacted with is incredibly knowledgeable about each product.There is x with t's and healthiness have been may help me resolving tech issues and understanding new gadgets and breeze.It's reassuring to know I have reliable Tech Support whenever I need it highly.Recommend taking advantage of this membership if you can

    I've bought this for several different things through best buy but this was the first time I had to use it. I was moving stuff around while remodeling my computer room. I dropped my router onto my 32" Dell gaming Monitor cracking the screen all the way down the middle. Luckily I had purchased this warranty and it was super simple to get a replacement. I just walked in told them what happened then they told me to pick out another monitor or I could get the exact same one. I choose one that was in stock and got a $30 refund and a better monitor! I will forever purchase this warranty having two young kids running around.

    Every item I get the extra protection….if anything happens to my purchase I go back and get a new one or store credit- one time I had to get store credit because they didn’t have my item anymore- but I lucked out! The new version was out …and on an amazing sale! So I actually got an updated one! I was so happy. Lately money has been tight and with these protection plans I’m able to replace my nice items with the same quality- not downgraded because I can’t afford it. I make the investments in my products- it’s worth it. You can track when your protection plan is over so just keep an eye on your items, any malfunctions or damage….don’t hesitate bring it back !

    It’s definitely worth placing this warranty of expensive tvs and curved monitors. Look at the details of the plan, nothing beats it.

    Be sure to check the terms and conditions on what form of reimbursement you're entitled to receive if your product could not be repaired. I bought a computer gaming monitor and it failed after a few years, still within the GSP-R plan. The assessment from a Geek Squad manager was that it could not be repaired, so they reimbursed me in the form of store credit on a gift card. When I questioned them on other forms of reimbursement, they told me it was the only option. I looked into the GSP-R March 1, 2020 - September 20, 2022 terms & conditions, I noticed that Section 7.b stated "Reimbursing you for the costs towards the purchase of a replacement product of like kind, quality and comparable performance with a store credit, gift card, or check in an amount not to exceed the non-discounted Best Buy retail price, including taxes, of your Covered Product at the time you purchased it." This made it sound like I was entitled to a check option. I spoke with multiple agents, including three specific representatives—a customer care agent online, a gift card department agent over the phone, and a reimbursement department agent over the phone. All three confirmed that I was correct and eligible for a check reimbursement. The third agent from the reimbursement dept. was kind and patient to look through the terms & conditions more carefully and pointed out to me section 12.c.III says "For all other Covered Products (apparently my monitor falls under this), except when covered by a Continuous Monthly Plan, our obligations will be fulfilled in their entirety if we replace your Covered Product with a new product or if we issue you a store credit or gift card as explained in Section 7(b)." - So, because this section only mentions store credit or gift card, I wasn't eligible for check reimbursement.
