Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not purchasing one when I bought my dad a nice portable waterproof speaker and now it no longer works and the manufacturing warranty can no longer be used. I got the geek squad service in case something happens to the new one. I had a older piece that broke and I had No extended warranty. So I had to replace everything. This gives me a piece of mind for 4 years.

I have made it a point to purchase the Geek Squad Protection on most of my high-end electronic purchase, especially with the LG SoundBar that I just purchased that integrated seamlessly with my new LG TV. The Geek Squad Protection plan has served me well on many occasions and I highly recommend it.

I've used the squad for computer repair needs in the past and because of their knowledge and expertise, that's the reason I maintain the Geek Squad Protection plan. Better to have and not needed than to not have and need. I don't mind paying $99.99 yearly for full coverage repairs than having to replace out of pocket.

Would not purchase an electronic device without having Geek Squad coverage. Never know when the device is going to stop working and based on previously experience with Geek Squad service plans, no need to work if they stop working because I am covered.

This gave me the confidence to push my speakers to the highest potential without worrying about the risk! As Best Buy makes it super easy to make a coin on this if needed!

The tech mounted my TV and installed a soundbar. Plus did in wall install for wires. They were on time, courteous, professional and knowledgeable and were protective gear (mask and shoe coverings and cleaned up afterwards. My in wall install was neat and precise. Definitely enjoyed Sean and John expertise

Geek squad warranties are the reason i use best buy, the reassurance that if something goes wrong for 4 or 5 years ill be able to return for store credit is awesome!

I don't know how I'm supposed to review something I've never needed to use yet, but hey, I get 25 points, lol. I'm sure this is a great, inexpensive plan to have just in case. If I ever need to take advantage of it, and ya never know - things happen, I'll update this "review".
