I did call for some tech support help on the setup of my device. The Geek Squad walked me through every step and made it easy to start using it.

I think is safe to buy protection because accidents happen with devices. I choose it because I don’t want to have problems in the future. I hope doesn’t happen but sometimes it’s necessary.

All good - (better clarity of start date recommended; check out clerk indicated warranty starts next year following manufacturer's warranty; Geek Squad email and chat verified, though, it started at time of purchase. I am OK with that - clarity in sales suggested). :)

If for no other reason than I could stop replaying this item falling off of the desk as a freak accident in my brain. Without the warranty this fallen monitor with be a boat anchor. Rather be safe than sorry.
