This service is such a life saver! I highly recommend the Geek squad replacement plan just for the peace of mind.

Have never had issues with geek squad protection and used it for 7 years now. Replaced headphones that started going out and headphones that just sounded bad. Easy choice to insure products that are expensive or you’re unsure on. I try to purchase from Best Buy because of this protection option

Purchased with a monitor in case it were to fail after the warranty period. Quality is hit or miss these days and after seeing reviews of monitors failing after a year of use, it was more cost effective to get a warranty for repair/replacement it if it fails within 4 years.

I have not cashed in on my 4 year replacement yet but I feel peace of mind knowing that if my monitor does have any issues, I can easily have it replaced.

Protection is key for electronics and back up protection from geek squad.

I haven't had to use it yet, thank God, but I know it's very good.

Honestly, it's pretty expensive and doesn’t cover accidental damage. I added it initially because the salesperson at Best Buy said it included accidental damage coverage, but later I found out it didn’t. I’m not sure if the salesperson was just trying to sell it or if they genuinely didn’t know. Either way, I returned it since it’s pointless when the monitor I bought already comes with a 3-year warranty.

I have had nothing but great service and it was money well spent. Worth every penny.

They were efficient on helping me get what I needed. Was a little wait but worth it.

Pay $80-130 to have the ability to swap out your product for a brand new one with no questions asked for up to 4 years? Totally worth it especially if you buy something expensive like I did (a $1000 LG Ultra Wide monitor which could have a dead pixel on delivery). Monitors are a lottery.. you can receive a bad display on delivery and you can exchange it for another display to also have a bad display. So buying the geek squad service is a no-brainer must have! Dont be cheap when you spend big money. Buy the protection plan! Especially when your product's manufacturers warrant may be just 1-yr.. and even if its 1-yr or 4-yrs.. their customer support can ignore your calls and emails.. or give you the run-around and never replace your damaged product. So why waste all that time on the phone or even shipping it back to be repaired and not have something to use in the meantime? Best Buy usually has the product in stock so there will be no wait.

Been using this for over a year now. The picture quality it can achieve is great, but the software is frustratingly slow, tedious, and glitchy. The monitor's remote has buttons for 4 different streaming services...but no button to change input. Too many extra features like this while missing or complicating basic ones. In 2026 you can find better for $350+. Only worth considerating on deep sale and for connecting a single device.

Always get the warranty if you're spending this much money whether it's a monitor or a console just do yourself a favor and protect it. Accidents happen.
