Geek Squad, a subsidiary of Best Buy, is a well-known tech support service that offers a range of services including computer repair, troubleshooting, installation, and technical support for various devices and appliances.

I found this to be a necessity for certain electronic items like TV's and Monitors since they can get hot over time and the inner components can get used up and fried, especially if you have it on for a long period of time after a few years.

I have not had an opportunity to use geek squad yet; however purchased if there is an issue in the future.

Geek Squad services can be so convenient and helpful to have, highly recommend paying extra for the coverage!

Have not needed to use it for this production. The price is worth the peace of mind incase item needs replaced or has issues. Have used protection plan a phone which got me a full replacement but was expensive shipping, but was still cheaper than buying a brand new phone.

I really loved the monitor. It gave me a immersed feeling which brought the game to reality for me.

I have an 27" Apple Thunderbolt Monitor and wanted a 4K monitor, hopefully from Apple. When Apple announced that there will not be a new Thunderbolt Monitor, I began to research Dell, Samsung, LG and other venders--finally selecting the LG 27" Monitor (27UD68). Setup was a breeze,and compared to the Apple Monitor (the gold standard), this HDMI monitor is on par. I very nearly did not buy it because so many reviewers found the stand to be unstable. NOT TRUE. I was careful to securely tighten the three screws connecting the stand to the monitor and have no complaints.

Geek squad protection is a must for clients! The monitor was flickering and had some dead pixels and they replaced it for a brand new because of the protection.

I have been purchasing the Geek Squad Product replacement plan on more things these days and this time it saved me. I broke the plastic tabs trying to install the stand on my Samsung 28" 4K monitor. I took it in and they gave me a brand-new monitor. But here was the problem. The monitor was only 3 months old, so I had to buy another Geek Squad replacement plan to protect a basically brand new monitor for another 4 years. Oh well, just to keep that in miind when you buy something and add the protection plan.

Ok, I know that insurance is a suckers bet, but, having insurance cover everything from a new transmission for my "legendary" Toyota to the new shingles on my house from those guys that "know a thing or two..."-- insurance just always seems to pay off for me. At the very least-- this agreement gives me peace of mind... although I now find myself scanning my 5K LG from corner to corner looking for that first pixel that blacks out.

Geek Squad is lit, Geek Squad 4 year protection/replacement plan is even more lit.

If you are looking for a great clear monitor to work from home, this is the one to purchase. I now have 2 of them connected to my laptop and it's a game changer. Yes, I highly recommend it.

The monitor is sleek and the colors pop and the blacks are true black now! 240 Hertz is perf for fps gaming.

Geek squad has always been great. Have used them for years. Techs arrived on time and were fast and efficient at installing the new big screen. Connected everything to the WiFi network and synched up all the remote controls. Explained everything and cleaned up before leaving. Very satisfied and will use them again.
