Geek squad service was pretty useful, mykid accidentally stepped on the receiver's remote and it broke. Best Buy replaced it immediately, it was easy!

Sound is how it should be; flat frequency response, great dynamics and great detail. Music sounds like it was recorded whether it was originally digital or analog. Once you get the wiring done properly this receiver can optimize it for you. It also works well with all my sources; DirecTV 4K, Blue-ray and Spotify full version from my PC. I have a mix of speakers ranging from power hungry quasi-ribbon mains (4 Ohms, only 86db output but high power handling), KEF Q100 sides and Klipsch center. This receiver handles them with no issues and plenty of power. Easy to use yet very capable UI. Great for the money!

I bought this receiver because of its reasonable price and phono jack. I still have a lot of LPs that are not available on CD, or I prefer not to replace with CD's. In some ways, the amp is wonderful. I connected a personal CD player with an AC/DC converter and 3.5 mm to RCA cable, and the sound is wonderful. Sound through the FM tuner is also good, even for stations a distance away. The remote has all the options I will use, plus some. But the quality of sound varies depending on the source. When I connected a turntable with RCA or Bluetooth options, the sound is not as good with either connection. And the sound was not as good when I connected a CD/DVD player via RCA. I'm not sure whether the variation is because of the amp or the components I have.

Okay so this review is based off a limited time of ownership. So far it works great and looks amazing. The sleek black and slim look is great. The Bluetooth option is something that I was a bit skeptical of. But after utilizing it and seeing how easy it was to connect I am sold. I will be reducing the amount of speaker I previously had and now just sending the sound through my soundbar.

High quality, great performance, dozens of options, superb response. I bought it to play movies but the digital music sounds so good that I sat my Integrated Yamaha aside for awhile. Mostly I listen to vinyls but this baby is making me revive my CD collection, which never sounded this good. I am impressed, very satisfied and I highly recommend this receiver to people like me, a demanding perfectionist but not a professional in the field.

protection adds onto the backend of the man warranty. Thus if I get a nice pair of deftech speakers, with a manufacturers warranty of 5 years, and a 4 year plan. Then I have 9 years of protection. Its not quite as nice as their replacement plans where you just get a new one. Your speakers have to be sent in, and sometimes they come back in worse shape then when you sent them out. I have never had bestbuy not make it right in the end. Even though perhaps the end could have come sooner.

Had the receiver for a few days, was an upgrade from an $800 Pioneer Elite model. The sound is more powerful and clear and I no longer have HDMI connection issues. My 4K Apple TV can also finally recognize my 4K Sony TV full resolution. Thanks, Yamaha, for thoroughly testing your HDMI connections compatibility!

Feel protected! Highly recommend to anyone purchasing something big

This speaker made a really big impact in my speaker system, I record this to everyone and I love it how you can adjust the EQ because i happened to love really loud and rough bass and I ajustes it the max and it’s incredible, the default settings are also amazing and it’s really it’s really loud and good for parties.

I purchased this today as I had purchased the A12 several weeks ago, so they go nicely together. But even better is the SOUND! I am beyond pleased with this purchase. CDs are old school, but so is the turntable. Corona Virus has pushed me back to a better time when life was simpler. Rotel has made me very happy.

This turntable does everything it says it does and is upgradable.

It's been a few years and this AV has withstood the test of time. Audio is great, endurance is better than Sony. Inputs are plentiful, and easier to use unlike Denon.

The agent and salesperson was very knowledgeable about the product. The produt is the best sound ever. The highs and Lows is very clear. I recommend buying this product

For those of you who aren't techies out there--and I am NOT--you should buy the extended warranty for your electronic equipment from Best Buy. why? Because it's only $40. for 4 yrs., and if the tech can't fix it, they'll REPLACE it! How can it get any better than that????

Great product easy to use with LG TV and latest Apple 4K that includes Dolby Vision.
