I purchased the extended warranty to give me a sense of security for the next several years. This way I can see what the receiver really can do!

It’s OK. If they can’t figure it out they’ll send you to the manufacturer. What I don’t like about the geek squad is that they say that they will install items that are protected by geek squad yet all appliances I have purchased have been dropped off by a third party delivery company. And that company sucks! Finally ask squad what they do install and the only things they are insulators on our electronics and devices that need programming. Everything else is installed by a third rate company

Always get a protection plan at best buy. Has always been convenient and easy to use when needed.
