T.v. home theater repair

But they sure try. I know its frustrating dealing with mad and upset customers all day. But when you have 5,000 wrapped up in your entertainment system alone and also total home protection you would expect the products to work as described. Guess you have to take the good with the bad. Still waiting for my samsung Q60 75" to work properly after the main board and the panel has been replaced. Going on a month now....

Fixer Upper

All i had to do was make and appointment and drop it off at geek squad and everything was taken care of. I was great customer service. Just a head up make sure you also make an appointment to pick your product up, I didn't know that and people who had appointments had priority over me so I was stuck in the store waiting for a bit.

Sony headphones

I know they only cost $100.00, but I worked for years selling electronics and it's worth $20 to see they continue to work great for the next 4 years. I have not had to use my extended warranty on everything I've ever purchased but it is so much more convenient and pays for itself when you do use it. I definitely recommend extended warranties.

Most hassle free and convenient

Instead of dealing with 800 or online reps, I simply bring the defective item into a Best Buy and the problem is most on often handled immediately.

The games will break and the manufacturer will not cover it. The games cost too much not to ensure. I’d rather pay a small deductible than the entire price to replace a game or fix a game.

Not what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased headphones for my hearing challenged elderly Mother & added extended warranty. At the time they were easy to connect through our cable box. 2 years later we no longer have a cable box & even with an adapter (samsung tv’s only have optical style for audio out) I was unable to get them to work. I took them in to be checked to see if they were broken or the adapter wasn’t working properly OR if it was operator error. The Geek squad member I met for my appointment wouldn’t even bother with them. He basically said they were really old (2 years) & he doubted he even had a way to check them. Best he could do was a partial refund. His demeanor was as if I was wasting his extremely valuable time! I felt as if I really had no choice. I took the pitiful refund & asked where the headphones was located to look for a new pair. He directed me to the farthest (completely across the store) opposite corner. I asked were there similar headphones that might work. He looked at me as if that was the last straw for his patience, and replied, “find someone out onnthe floor & ask them.” Wow!
