    Bought for a delicate lighting curtain, haven't use it but having ease of mind knowing I can replace with no issue is no brainer at a minimal price

    I have been using these cameras and system, for almost 2 years now. I have been really enjoying the ease of the camera system. The battery life of the cameras are amazing. I just ordered one more battery on amazon so I could have 2 on ready standby when I need to change them. I would very highly recommend to those who do not want to deal with wired camera home systems.

    I always try to take advantage of the Geek Squad product replacement plan. I like being able to return an item if it goes bad without the hassle of shiping it off to someplace . Over the years I had to replace several products after they had gone bad and it was no problem to go into the nearest best buy and at times get the next generation of a product out if the model that I was using was no longer availble. So yes for me paying a few extra dollars was worth it. The only time that I might not pay for the extra protection is when the coverage that I am trying to get is close to a hundred dollars for the item, such as some tablets that I have bought, however that might depend on the item because I got coverage on a washing machine and a dryer at one time and although I may not have to ever use it at least I know that I am covered and for me that makes it worth the peace of mind that I will get. So in conclusion you have to way the risk that you are willing to take and for me it has worked out well over the years and I have no complaints.

    I purchased this in case anything happens to my new laptop because I had bought a laptop that was very expensive before and my cat jumped down from the window sill and landed on it and it broke, the hard drive still worked, but I live out in the boonies, so I tried to ship it out to get it fixed, but no one would do it unless I could come bring it in person and the nearest store is 2 hours from where I live. So I have not had to use the product replacement yet, but I feel that it is totally worth it to protect my investment because I use my computer for work at home, even though I work in the office with a work computer, I am always doing work at home too. So if anything random happens like that, I can get it fixed and not lose a lot of money that I just spent. I like the updates on information and where I can get support if I need it for the software and printer and other things that I purchased at BestBuy.

    Geek squad was able to help me with no hesitation. They recommended I purchase the protection plan which I had which I never thought I'd have to use until my landlord smashed my ring doorbell and tore the camera off of my flood light in the back of the house . I thought NO WAY is this covered and called geeksquad expecting no help and they gladly told me to bring in my damaged items to exchange on the spot because I was covered. I'll always purchase the product protection they offer because it's hands down the best and the service is always amazing

    Geek squad never fails. If I ever buy anything from Best Buy I always add the protection service. I’ve had to use them a few times and they always get things fixed or replaced fast. I never have problems dealing with them. I’m sure your products you never know, perfection 100% of the time on anything we buy is impossible. That’s why erasers were put on pencils.

    Don’t purchase without Geek Squad protection. Everything get’s fixed or replaced as long as you purchase it and it’s still effective. Get the five year plan on big ticket items.

    I don't really like that it's not like a full warranty. If the item gets discontinued in favor of a newer version instead of just replacing it with the newer version they give you what you paid for the original ro go toward something else. Considering Best Buy is a tech store and tech notoriously goes obsolete quickly combined with rampant inflation, the amount you spent on the previous item winds up falling quite short of the newer model. So even after the money you pay for the protection plan you probably will end up spending hundreds more to even get something comparable to what you had. In the end, I guess it still saved me a couple hundred over all but it was frustrating and disappointing. If I couldn't have afforded the difference I would have still been without a security system.
