    Great sound but struggles to maintain CEC connection to TV. End up having to reboot soundbar at least every third time.

    I purchased this plan to get a computer fixed and when I purchased more items, they would not let me buy multi-year protection because I had this plan, which only provides one year coverage and must be renewed each year. Never again

    Difficult to Get Hold of the Geek Squad

    While they have fixed problems in the past, I had a problem getting in contact with the Geek Squad about an issue with a TV a while back. Eventually, the store manager had to intercede and provided a solution to the problem. Best Buy needs to make it very simple to contact the Geek Squad, even by phone if necessary, which was impossible at the time of my problem. I should be able to call; on the menu there should be a "Talk to a Geek Squad member" option; and a live person answers the phone. There is no excuse for it to be otherwise.

    I had to order a new remote for my 6 month old soundbar because the original broke. I went to the Best Buy location and the rep there, ordered me a new part. After several weeks with no part, and no response from geek squad. I checked on my order to find it had vanished. I wend back into the store with the old order. They were just as surprised as I was. They put in another order. 3 weeks went by and again my order vanishes. I got to the store again, and they put in a 3rd order and ever try to call the geek squad customer care number for me. After the rep there was on hold for over 45 minutes. He put in my cell phone number for a call back. I received the call back and was again put on hold for over an hour. The rep who answered was able to tell me that they couldn't get a part for my soundbar. That would have been nice to know on the first 2 canceled orders. They told me they would reimburse me for the part if I could find it and to look for an email. I was able to find a generic remote that works but I never received the email. Needless to say I won't buy geek squad protection for anything in the future. It was a huge waste of money as they can't help you.
