Really enjoyed this movie based on the struggle of Jackie Robinson entering Professional baseball. My emotions were all over the place. Everyone should see this film.

42 helps a person understand the difficulty that Jackie Robinson went thru to play in the big league Thank heavens for his bravery & determination!

This movie lets you see the real obstacles that a person of color has had to endure to even be allowed to compete in sports know matter how much talent and skill he has had.

The movie illustrates the struggles African-Americans faced post WWII. It sets an example of the never die spirit of Americans facing adversity and achieving greatness.

I love the storied history of the Brooklyn Dodgers, and of course Jackie Robinson. Harrison Ford was awesome as Branch Rickey. Incredible sets for that "old" ballpark feeling!

So sad that Chad passed away. He was an awesome actor. Glad that he was able to share his talents with us.

Chadwick Boseman protrayed Jackie splendedly. He fit the character of the movie and kept the character real for the viewers. The movie was very interesting.

Good movie with a good story. There are even some parts that are funny. However, the end was not as good as it could have been. The story is great and the lead up to the ending was good, but the ending was horrible. They could have picked a more bigger part of jackie career to end on.

This movie is excellent for both the baseball lover and the non-baseball lover. Uses language that was used back then, so if you are one that is easily offended beware....

Great story about breaking barriers on sports (baseball) for colored people plus great story of real life baseball player. Worth my money to own this movie!

My kid is a huge baseball fan. We loves this movie of Jackie. He never realized how much he liked Robinson, he now does the same walk up.

Telling the story of a real sporting icon with a somewhat unknown actor and it paid off. The acting was great but it remained second to the incredible story of Mr Robinson.

Great movie for baseball fan and whole family. It shows the trials and tribulations of baseball at a time when society and their beliefs were of segregation and inequality.

Although I knew the impact Jackie Robinson had in baseball, I did not realize to what extent his impact had until I saw "42." This was a very well-acted movie without too many melodramatic moments. I highly recommend this movie for anyone interested not only in baseball but in humanity as well.

This movie is well acted. The movie can't get the realism of the racism and hate that Jackie and his family faced. But overall, this is a movie ALL MUST see.
