excellent screenplay of jackie robinson..chadwick boseman may he rest in peace did an excellent portrayal of the first black ballpayer to the major league baseball. a must see and a must purchase

Every young child should see this movie. Parents need to teach their children about the players who broke the color barriers and paved the way for guys like Adrew McKutchen.I cannot say enough about this movie. "42" is one of the best movies I have ever seen!!!! A must see for all!

Great purchase, the price was a great deal being that Chadwick had just passed away. I wish more store would’ve taken notes from Best Buy to not jack up prices because someone passed away.

Excellent portrait of 1940's and Baseball's great Jackie Robinson played by the late Chadwick Boseman (RIP) , & Harrison Ford make this movie a 10/10!!

Great movie, very entertaining. Hand down one of my favorite movie and actor Chadwick Boseman, he played Jackie Robinson character to the upmost respect for portraying true acting on his behalf.

42 was an excellent movie, depicting what being a black person, extraordinary athlete and married man was in the south during this time period. It showed how Jackie perservered and stood up for himself during these turbulent times and he came out on top and a legend!

A great movie. I like how it was a white Christian who took on the issue of racism personally. Harrison Ford is a great Branch Rickey. From what I have read about Rickey, he was more fervent in his faith than the movie portrays. Great story, acting and drama.

A great movie regarding the first African American baseball player Jackie Robinson who changed history and the game if baseball. This movie captures the racial tensions of that era along with the perseverance of Jackie and his fight to be treated fairly in a game he loved.

Had to buy to add to my collection. One of my favorites that I can watch over again and again! Some of the aspects on Robinson's Life was missed, but it still was a great film.

Saw the movie when it came out. I bought the blu ray because this movie has a great story line, genuine historical significance and also happens to be entertaining as well. It also has some valuable life lessons on how to handle some important situations...

I was blown away by how well acted this movie was. It told the TRUE story of why Branch Rickey wanted black players (to save money) and it was very well done with great cinematography to make you feel like you were back in post WWII USA

Saw this movie in theaters and enjoyed. I love sports movies in general. It was a very good story and showed how hard it was for Jackie when he came up to the big leagues and it proved why his number is retired by all teams and there is Jackie Robinson Day!

The Jackie was a great baseball player back in the 1950.He plays many sports like basketball,football,and track.Jackie was in the army too, and he was an official.He was extremely intelligence.Jackie Robinson knew how to deal with racist baseball players.

Great movie. Times were way different in those days. Happy to see how Jackie Robinson handle it. A true man and great baseball player. Worth to watch.

It is an absolute necessity that this story is portrayed in various ways. To capture the life of the great Jackie Robinson is not suitable for a 2 hour movie, but they do it as much justice as possible. More could be done, but a great movie none-the-less.

This movie reveals the true story pf the great Jackie Robinson and his relationship with Branch Rickey. This movie shows the determination on how Robinson faught racism and he convinced America that color did not matter and his teammates accepted him.

Any fan of baseball and any inquirer into modern american history should be required to watch this film which both breaks your heart and uplifts your spirit because of the faith and courage of two men.
