The 2016 Insignia 1080p Roku TV isn't bad, but it's clear that they put more focus on the new 4K sets. The picture is extremely bright and the colors look ok. Mine unfortunately had some backlight bleed/dirty screen going on. It's most evident during motion. If you can get it cheap (as it often is on sale) and the Sharp isn't available, Insignia is not a bad choice.

The Roku OS is best and most responsive I have used. Can do all the usual apps HBO Go, Netflix, Hulu, ESPN. Careful having this shipped to you. My original TV shipped with a shattered screen but was promptly given a replacement. Make sure to open it within the return window even if it is a gift so that you don't get stuck with a lemon. The remote is good to use but the plastic for the battery cover is really cheap and broke within a month.

I bought this on Black Friday. It was a great deal and so far has been an excellent choice. Good picture and sound quality.

Simple operation for my six year old grandson.I would recommend this tv to anyone. And my Best Buy sakes reps are the best.

Regardless of what others said, sound is good for watching most shows. I have sound bar for movies. Picture is very good.

I've been very happy with the TV. It has good resolution, and good viewing angles. Having the Roku built in is great! We've used Roku for years, and it's nice to not have an extra piece of hardware in the way. It also has a built in tuner for over-the-air broadcasts, and gets better reception than we were getting with the same antenna and a converter box. This is absolutely worth what we spent, and I am very pleased with it.

Perfect monitor for use as digital signage. Using this at my workplace to continually display statistics. Great deal!
