Great TV, mediocre sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first smart tv. The display is beautiful, and I love the built in ROKU. I mainly watch amazon video on it, but on Sunday night I watch STARZ. I got this tv on sale and it was a great bargain. Looking for a great tv at a reasonable price? Look no further.

Q: QuestionWhich TV is better Insignia 48 inch. Roku smart hdtv tv. Or the Sharp 43 inch Roku smart hdtv tv?
Asked by Malino1234.
- A:Answer The Insignia is actually built by LG specifically for BestBuy. So, you are getting the LG quality for a better price. The only companies that can get a "private Brand" are those who buy boat loads of products like Best buy. There are only 4 or 5 major manufacturers of Flat Screen TV's so for the most part all of them are built by good manufacturers. Consider the price and the features. The quality comes from the Korean (Samsung, LG, etc) and Japanese (Sony, Sharp, Mitsubishi, etc) manufacturers as they are stringent in their QC processes, and the components, even if the product is imported from China the Sony, Samsung, Sharp, LG (Insignia), Mitsubishi, etc) are all very solid products.

Q: QuestionDoes the insignia smart tv SKU: 4822003 need the roku player in order to watch web pages as Youtube?
Asked by MARY.
- A:Answer I didn't notice a web browser in any Roku device, but there is a YouTube app you can use. I can't confirm it, but I would say it has a Roku TV Stick 2016 version in it. As the TV is faster than the older stick. Close to the Roku 3. But you don't get the fancy remote. Short version. Roku is built in and there is a YouTube app to install from the app store.

Q: QuestionAnybody figure out how to just use Xfinity remote to watch tv? This tv defaults to a menu where you have to pick TV or Roku or other input everytime. This forces you to use 2 remotes to just get the tv on and showing the input from cable.
Asked by Bobnj.
- A:Answer You can simply go into the TV settings and select the input "cable box" as default power up. Make sure you programmed your cable remote to control the TV and you should be fine after that.

Q: QuestionCan I link my iPad to the TV, and play content from my tablet on the TV?
Asked by Talachan.
- A:Answer I answered my own question. For iPad users, download the free iPad Roku app. Just search iPad Roku in the app store, and you will see it. It installed very easily, and I am now able to stream any video from any internet source onto my TV. I hope this helpful to other iPad and iPhone users.

Q: QuestionCan you mount this tv on the wall
Asked by Ken.
- A:Answer Yes, I mounted this to a wall mount arm. The TV is about 22lbs and has a 400x200 Vesa mount pattern. It did come with 4 Vesa screws and I used those instead of the ones from my Vesa mount arm since I wanted to ensure bolt depth.
