The surround sound is great and the Bluetooth interface lets me listen to music from my phone.

The system is great for movies or dvds it has great range and can fiil a large room with great sound the downside is when playing music from a dvd or radio station it just doesnt have the volume as a high end entertainment system like bose or klipsh but it does the job.

Needed to replace our previous DVD/home theater system after having it for 7 years. Liked the all-in-one package, and was intrigued with the added WiFi feature. Easy to install as it was very similar to what we had. Our TV is NOT WiFi ready, but with this new WiFi DVD system, it is- and it was easy to set up the connection! Sound is much better than the TV sound- probably not as high end as other TV home theater systems out there, but it is more than fine for us --- a great value for a DVD + Home theater sound system. Ordered it all on line while chatting with a Best Buy representative, and he arranged for a store pick-up. Transaction and Store pick-up could not have been easier!

Bought this system to replace a similar Samsung unit that died after about 8 years of use. This unit sounds good and I like the smart features with the Apps. However, I have one major complaint. Unlike the unit I replaced, with this unit, you ONLY have full surround sound when playing DVDs and BlueRays. IF you're watching TV, the rear speakers do NOT produce any sound. Therefore, this unit does not sound anywhere near as good as my old one. My rating is really more of a 3 1/2 stars, but if Samsung fixes this flaw, it could easily be a 5.

Best Buy gave me this after my Samsung Blu-Ray 5.1 Surround Sound System with a tube pre-amp quit working at the tail end of it's extended warranty. I took my unit in for repair but after a snafu with Geek Squad, it did not reach the repair center before the warranty expired. the store manager kindly gave me this as a replacement. it lacks the tube pre-amp that my previous unit had, but it came with some other bells and whistle, like "built in" YouTube, a free 30 day Netflix trial and some other goodies. So far, so good!

This is an easy setup Hometheater system that simplifies everything for you and is really an economic setup with the dvd player with built in streaming apps. Sounds great and works perfect for smaller room applications.

this unit is easy to set up and has surprising good surround performance for its price its features are easy to access and very welcome since I have a six disc cd player that I was unwilling to give up

good overall balanced sound with good bass. don't have a 3D TV to test out 3D capability but the blu ray looks great

The wireless amplifier needs to be able to go louder. I do not hear sound out of the surround speakers unless there is almost no sound in the front. I have already lowered the front to practically the minimum and the surround to the max.

Bought this on my account to add some rewards to an item my parents wanted to buy on black friday, since I wasn't contemplating any other purchases at the time, and rewards expire...(even though they kinda don't). It took a while to actually ship, and I installed it for them in their newly finished basement just before Christmas when I was visiting. Seems to have pretty good sound and wireless surround feature works perfectly, saving a >$70 Rocketfish purchase of a device to do the same thing.

This is a newer version of another Samsung home theater system we have. The older system is still working fine as it always has. It is now being used in a different space. We purchased the newer unit because it has better "smart" features, i.e. we no longer have to que Netflix shows from a computer in order to watch them via the Samsung system. (For those of you who may not remember the earlier days of Netflix digital content and many smart devices, you used to have to log in to Netflix via a computer and add shows to your Netflix que in order to watch them on connected devices. It adds an additional step and, by today's standards, is quite cumbersome.) This newer unit has modern smart functionality and works great! We are using this set in the master bedroom where running speaker cable for the rear channel speakers would be nearly impossible. This home theater system, (as did our older system), utilizes wireless rear channel speakers. The rear channel speakers plug into a relatively small receiver, (comes with the system), that is easily concealed. Everything you need for a great sounding system is in the box and is very easy to set up. In case you were wondering about the space where it is installed... The master bedroom is quite large... Probably 250 square feet. The overall home is 6900 square feet. This Samsung home theater system produces plenty of sound for the space. I'm sure we will never use it at full power.
