Bought this on my account to add some rewards to an item my parents wanted to buy on black friday, since I wasn't contemplating any other purchases at the time, and rewards expire...(even though they kinda don't). It took a while to actually ship, and I installed it for them in their newly finished basement just before Christmas when I was visiting. Seems to have pretty good sound and wireless surround feature works perfectly, saving a >$70 Rocketfish purchase of a device to do the same thing.

This is a newer version of another Samsung home theater system we have. The older system is still working fine as it always has. It is now being used in a different space. We purchased the newer unit because it has better "smart" features, i.e. we no longer have to que Netflix shows from a computer in order to watch them via the Samsung system. (For those of you who may not remember the earlier days of Netflix digital content and many smart devices, you used to have to log in to Netflix via a computer and add shows to your Netflix que in order to watch them on connected devices. It adds an additional step and, by today's standards, is quite cumbersome.) This newer unit has modern smart functionality and works great! We are using this set in the master bedroom where running speaker cable for the rear channel speakers would be nearly impossible. This home theater system, (as did our older system), utilizes wireless rear channel speakers. The rear channel speakers plug into a relatively small receiver, (comes with the system), that is easily concealed. Everything you need for a great sounding system is in the box and is very easy to set up. In case you were wondering about the space where it is installed... The master bedroom is quite large... Probably 250 square feet. The overall home is 6900 square feet. This Samsung home theater system produces plenty of sound for the space. I'm sure we will never use it at full power.

Bought this as upgrade from 500w system. The difference is night and day. Great clear sound blu Ray player works great. Volume meter goes up to 50 and in 2 weeks I have not had to put it past 25 that's with 2 small children playing loudly in room

I replaced an older Samsung system, so the replacement was fairly easy. You may need to purchase some cables to complete the installation depending on your auxiliary equipment.

The sound in my house is amazing. I love to turn on music and clean my house.

THis is an OK sound system, but I am not super happy with this. The Bass is awfully bad quality, very little effects; I added my old Panasonic active sub-woofer to add more bass. Sarround sound works well. The wireless rear speaker is not actually wireless. There is a wireless receiver that need to be attached with the rear speaker through wires. NOT so conveneint. Overall OK but not a great speaker system and not a good value for the money.
