I have had Geek Squad’s support a few times. They are always helpful: phone or in-person! So for me having the yearly plan is a no-brainer. However, I still think Best Buy should not have removed the inclusion of complimentary home set up that they had up until this year!

I got this tv as a result oh my geek squad protection on my LG tv. I have bought the protection in the past and they stand by the agreement 100%

Purchased this plan for myself and luckily I never needed it. However, I assisted my mother in purchasing a 65 inch 4K Samsung set the same year. She had some problems with the set several times. She called the Geek Squad at her local store and they quickly dispatched team members out to get her set sorted out. The last year of her plan, she had issues with the screen. Once again they came out but determined the set would need to be replaced. I assisted her with selection of a new set. She was more than pleased with their help and the new Sony replacement set. She received a brand new set better than the original one and even had enough credits remaining to get another 5 year plan of Geek Squad service. All of this without having to spend another penny! Geek Squad service plans are fantastic!

Why by one year when you can get five year for a good price I really like this

I have t had to use this product but I have peace of mind knowing that if a lightning strike effected my tv it would be covered .

The installers were very professional. They were on time, removed the old broken wall mounted TV and installed this beautiful LG OLED. They showed me their recommended setting. Haven’t need to change any setting though I tried, but couldn’t improve anything.

For a 2 year warranty on that TV it was $20. What a buy at the time where inflation is terrible and everyone is having A hard time.. I think Best Buy for keeping the warranty price down low and affordable, thank you. Guys,

Added the Insurance for $99 , Hopefully I Never Have to Use It !

I can always count on bestbuys protection plan to take care of my devices. Ive used it a few times on other products and man, that small fee is worth it!

This protection was helpful but not in all the ways i thought. Some items don't qualify and that's not what i thought when i purchased. Now i buy individual protection for each item, it's easier to understand. The services are pricy so i never sought them out.

Geek Squad Techs were efficient and polite. Helped me with any questions I had while they were replacing the TV on the wall would recommend this service highly

Do yourself a favor and do not skimp when it comes to protecting your investment. Geek squad will replace or repair anything that goes wrong and coverage is quite comprehensive. And will provide a significant discount on anything that isn't covered. Not to mention excellent support for any questions or issues you might run into. The customer service is excellent and very helpful. When I couldn't properly get my LG oled (bought from BestBuy) to connect with my Xbox series x and soundbar (both purchased elsewhere) one call to geek squad and the rep walked me through the the entire setup a lot more thoroughly (4k 120fps atmos) than any website or video I could find, no questions asked! If you're spending your hard earned money on something you really ought to consider this added layer of security and protection to give you peace of mind.

I almost NEVER buy the geeksquad protection, but I bought an expensive television and I made the choice to purchase the plan. Glad that I did! About 2 years after my purchase a red line randomly appreared smack down the middle of the screen. I knew it was out of warranty and at the time I had almost forgot that I purchase the plan until I checked my email. I contacted the geek squad who ultimately determined that it could not be fixed. They replaced the whole tv for no additional cost! I received a brand new television AND an updated model. I was so satisfied that I purchased the protection plan again, a two year this time, but either one is worth the money!

looks and feels nice except for the tv stand. tv stand base is nice and heavy and metal. but the shaft and mount is plastic holding a ~50 pound tv. therefore it wobbles as you set up or whenever you touch. out of the box settings are ok but its annoying to find the right settings especially if you want to get rid of the stutterrinf on fast moving objects. also annoying how intelligent mode is not always the best, so i end up going back and forth between intelligent mode on and off. but when its off you have a myriad of settings to mess around with which gets annoying furthermore. so you either always have to compromise something using their preset settings or adjust/edit settings everytime you watch something different. so unless you are constabtly going to watch the same type of things, you may spend more time than you want messing with settings. the biggest thing that bothered me is when you see bright and still objects, you see like pixels or dots moving. like when u try to see how detailed someones pores are, you also see dots moving so it seems like you have a damaged tv? im not sure how to explain it or if it is a problem but it bothers me.

Always buy the warranty with electronics. I regret buying this Roku tv and will buy a better brand next time.
