I gave only 3 stars because I have not had to use this yet, so I can not rate the quality of service. Hopefully, when I need it, it will be awesome.

I have used Geek Squad for a number of years for maintenance on my company computers. I recently had bought a new computer at Best Buy and needed to have them set up the new computer with all the information from the old computer and then tune up the old computer. Ultimately they accomplished part of the work but not all. It was disappointing to know that I will need to make another appointment and bring the computers in to be worked on again.

Its a warranty so what can I say. I buy these with everything but have only used a warranty once. But, I guess I will be glad I have it one day.

Not please with this purchase i use it once and the system canceled my service by mistake according to best buy rep.

I haven’t been able to keep a tv for more than 3 years for some reason so I have to get the geek squad protection I just with it was cheaper.

I have not used this yet and hope that I will never need to.

Good to have for safety and if you work in hazardous jobs or prone to being clumsy but if you don’t use it it’s feels very wasteful to purchase

I did not had to use my geek quad service, so i couldn't tell you hoe effective they were.

Puchased extra coverage but havent had to use yet. Coverage reads like a solid plan hence 3 stars.

It’s a for a Christmas gift so it hasn’t been used yet.

I have used this service about 10 times, even for products not purchased at BestBuy. I feel better knowing its active

If your going to invest in something this should be it and keep your money protected for the product you purchased

do not buy any off does plans, my tv is broken and i get no help even when i bought total tech protection and protection plan. there excuse is software but its clearly not, so if this was truth then it needs to be fix by the total tech but its not. total garbage and no help, costumer service is none, i keep calling and no one moves but guess what best buy, i will no longer buy anything from u, and i will steer anybody away.

It's good to have protection. I have used it once. It takes a while for them to take a look at your device and fix it.

Best security system..amd its for 2 years or 4 years.

BIGGEST PROBLEM: BEST BUY. The worst defect of all in the many products I purchased in the last month was the many hours and trips I made to the store and online to get a replacement or to get other glitches fixed. When something goes wrong Best Buy online, phone, and in-store managers are virtually helpless to get problems solved. BOTTOM LINE. When there is a glitch, doing business at Best Buy is very painful, frustrating, and time consuming. If you are persistent, Best Buy will eventually take care of it but it will cost you time, hassle, bureaucracy, and frustration.

It's GeekSquad support, due to covid to get anything repaired takes a little longer than usual and the repairs aren't even close to new.

At the time of purchasing my tv I was asked if I wanted to also buy the protection plan. I said yes, because if something was to go wrong with the tv being as large as it is I would not be able to bring into store for repair. My tv is 4 years old and I have 1 year left on the service plan and I'm having issues with the sound. Since I have the service plan I wanted someone to come to my home and fix it. Now I'm being told my service plan does not cover in home service. In other words I was taken advantage of because the rep new I that's why I was purchasing the protection plan so I would have in home service if something went wrong with my tv.
