I always buy the protection when spending nearly 2000 on a tv. Bought the KS9500 and within the first 6 months, the screen displayed a line of dead pixels! Glad I had the protection.

Had an issue with a new tv, nothing to do with Best Buy, from the factory. They were very responsive and reliable. Very helpful and reactive. Glad I paid for the service.

I purchased this for my new Hisense TV. The TV died in 6 weeks and when I called the Geek Squad I was told I had to deal with the manufacturer for the first year of the warrenty. This is understandable. The Geek Squard member was very nice. My issue was when I tried to cancel it my refund was prorated.

I have always purchased coverage for my electronics (pricey ones) I have had great experiences with Geek Squad protection. MY son has had to replace his Laptop 2 times because of breakage and both times it was covered they were $1200.00 Laptops. Mine was also replaced $800.00 no charge. The cost of the protection for physical damage isn't cover with the manufacturers guarantee, but it is with Geek Squad.

I have the geek squad service haven't had to use it as of yet. But I am confident they would take care of my problems. It's just good to know that you have them there if you need them. I know someone who has The Geek Squad service. And they say they took care of all their problems. Rated five-star

I have not used the Geek Squad for the TV , I am relieved to know they are a call away. I did use the Geek Squad for my computer an its was SUPER easy and fast!

Would not purchase anything without it. But of course i hope i never have to use it! But it's nice to know my back is covered.

We would never buy a TV without a protection plan. On a previous TV we bought years ago, it came in handy. It wasn't able to be fixed and the plan let us replace it with a new TV. All we had to pay was the difference between the two TVs and a new protection plan. Was well worth the extra money for us for that situation

Cashed my last 5 year warranty in when 75” TV had a bad motherboard. Purchased again. It’s 20% insurance that something will happen in five years to a very complicated electronic. Becoming more and more a required cost of ownership.
