I use to not get it until my son's Bose headphones broke about a month before his Geek Squad warranty was up. He brought it in and got a new pair no questions asked. Saved him over $300.

The only part that sucks is how fast the protection plan deuterates. Used on a TV and within 4 months of purchase we lost a good chunk of the money when having to do a return. Not sure it is worth paying for, but was helpful.
