    It does pay to have a warranty purchase

    I've had no issues with my Sony 4K TV I purchased this warranty for but I know and heard that Best Buy does have great quality customer service if something goes wrong with your purchase and it can be easily returned and exchanged for the same product or similar product.

    With my luck, as soon as manufacturing warranty ends, Geek Squad will kick in and I’ll have piece of mind. I always het a Geek Plan.

    We would buy this protection every time it is offered - BestBuy really honors their customers when a product fails and does not make it a big hassle to use it. We buy some products from BestBuy just because of this protection plan vs buying it from another box store or online retailer.

    @BestBuy @BestBuySupport I am going through a nightmare customer service at Geek Squad Scranton 959 Viewmont Dr Dickson City, PA 18519 I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Best Buy's Geek Squad installation service. I purchased a Samsung 75” Class LS03D The Frame Series QLED 4K TV with Anti-Reflection and Slim Fit Wall Mount Included on August 17th, 2024. I scheduled a Geek Squad appointment for TV setup and mounting on August 23rd. During this appointment, the technicians suggested that I hide all the cables, including those from the TV and soundbar. I agreed and rescheduled for August 28th. To my dismay, the team that arrived on August 28th had no idea how to mount the Frame TV. They suggested using the old mount from my previous TV, which was completely against the purpose of purchasing the Frame TV. The team left without mounting the TV and instructed me to reschedule the installation service. I called Geek Squad and spoke with Andy, who informed me that the system was not updated and that I would need to wait 24 hours before calling back to schedule. I followed their instructions, only to be told the same thing again. After waiting an additional 24 hours and calling Geek Squad again, I was informed that the system still had not been updated and that I would need to wait another 24 hours. As a customer who has been waiting for my TV since August 17th, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. It is unacceptable that I have to repeatedly call Geek Squad and beg for them to schedule a service that they have already botched. Their lack of efficiency, knowledge, and customer service is truly appalling. I urge Best Buy to take immediate action to address this issue. I expect a resolution that includes a prompt and correct installation of my TV, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and frustration I have experienced. Just to add into the story I spoke to the manager they reach out to me through DM chat when I posted the same concern over social media.. but again told me to wait for another 24 hours telling me they "escalated" just to tell you whenever they tell you they are escalating means they are going to add 24 hours with every escalation but they will not fix your problem just give you another 24 hours. they are flying pigeons to get across internal communication to resolve any issue. run for your life when the representative tell we are escalating Sir.

    Always purchase the week squad protection for any electronics over $100. The service basically pays for itself, if used.

    I had a problem with my tv they sent someone out right away. The person cane with mask for his and my protection. He was very professional and very nice. He took care of the problem and left. I am glad I purchased the insurance because everything was covered.

    This helps to be be at peace as modern day televisions have softwares which generally gets messed up after a year. Also, generally usage of TV is very high and hence I would recommend 2 year top up to all especially my previous TV with other company not Samsung got messed up exactly after a year and I was out of warranty.

    I have always purchased coverage for my electronics (pricey ones) I have had great experiences with Geek Squad protection. MY son has had to replace his Laptop 2 times because of breakage and both times it was covered they were $1200.00 Laptops. Mine was also replaced $800.00 no charge. The cost of the protection for physical damage isn't cover with the manufacturers guarantee, but it is with Geek Squad.

    Geek squad is the best thing to have on your merchandise when you purchase anything from the store they are the number one when it comes down to take care of fixing merchandise so make sure you purchase a merchandise get that warranty with geek squad

    This was protection for an Open Box TV. I have already reviewed that TV as excellent and the warranty was not needed. I cannot say I would recommend the service since I did not need to use it but if you are purchasing an open box I guess, like me, you may wish to buy the warranty as it still was cheaper than the full price of a new set.

    I have been a customer for 10 yrs and was elite premium for the last 8 and i dont own a business, it was all for me.. i ALWAYS buy extended warranty.. Geek Squad is great.. cant believe sometimes how much i spent at Best Buy.. but i did.. lol

    With the purchase of a large appliance, a 50" TV set fits right in there, I think it is prudent to acquire additional protection past what is the usual warranty on the item. Considering the sale price of this Samsung 50" TV set and the reasonable cost of an additional 5-years Geek Squad Protection Plan, it proved cost effective to include such protection in the purchase. Gives one more peace of mind in the years ahead.
