I've already taken advantage of it a few times - twice with the tech using an app to remotely take control of my laptop and troubleshoot and improve my computer speed and ensure that I had no viruses or malware. It's good for 24 months for the price of 1 year and they will come to your house if necessary.

We picked up our tv. We always buy service. On our tv. The men always come out and work on our tv when we call. If it can't be. Fix they replace it. They are very professional when they come out. I would tell everyone to buy service on there products. I buy it on all my large merchandise.service

These People are well trained. Dustin and was very thorough in explaining on to operate TV with new control. Would not leave until we were completely satisfied; it was his top priority that all of our questions were answered to our satisfaction. Best Buy has the best in damage protection. If I've ever had an issue they either fix, replace or refund. THAT'S why i always buy the piercing plans from them on my expensive items.

I recommend geek squad to every person that asks if they should add it on. Technology can have issues, it happens, geek squad provides peace of mind and is always fast, informative, and easy to deal with.

Always worth getting the protection plan! A piece of my vacuum broke off many years later and I got a full refund in store credit.
