    Free in home service for tvs that are over 45 inches. Granted manufacturers like samsung do the same thing but only for the one year that they offer their warranty for and they do not cover electric surge damage. no brainer when you are spending so much money on a television

    A friend had a problem with their new TV and even though it was under warranty for one year, they had to do much of the work of disassembling and rebooking things back up. With the Best Buy plan we will not have todo anything ourselves . Two years was only $60.

    Would not purchase a major appliance without it. Best Buy’s warranty picks up when the manufacturers ends unlike most that charge you and arm and a leg and then have the guts to run it concurrently!

    I recently called the Geek Squad and they set up an appointment to come to my home. They called before arrival, very knowledgeable and did some adjustments on my 82” LG tv…. Problem solved.

    5 Year Standard Geek Squad Protection has been a money saver in the past when it comes to the latest in electronic equipment. It seems like the more features in electronics the more susceptible to being harmed. So it can be worth it for expensive items.

    I will NEVER own an electronic device without Geek Squad. In more than one instance I have had devices quick working and they were completely replaced because of Geek Squad. Help with set up or issues is also AMAZING!

    I've had Geed Squad help for several years, but now am a Total Tech Support Subscriber. It is well worth the money, as we have A LOT of Best Buy devices in our home :). The Geek Squad technicians are always helpful!

    I had a very expensive plasma screen television covered under this plan. It went out a few months ago, and Geek Squad was very helpful in attempting to repair it. The TV was never fixed, and because Best Buy no longer sells plasma screens, I was able to get store credit for the product.

    I've asked for Geek Squad help with computer issues, TV and component set up, TV operating issues and complete kitchen appliance replacements. They have also assisted us knowledgably, professionally and politely.

    If buying a flatscreen highly recommend this service contract as repair components can get pricey. Used this once; set broke about a month before contract expired and it was fully honored. Set fixed so very happy with it.

    For $50 you can have peace of my mind with a 5 year protection plan to cover your TV from anykind of problems. When you spend $250 for the TV you want to make sure you are covered if anything happens.

    I've purchased the Sony x900h 85" TV which I had to return multiple times because the TV was defective, at least 3 times. Each time someone was suppose to come to my house to exchange it for a new Sony x900h, Bestbuy always rescheduled my appointment date and time without any notice. So I will wait at home on the appointment date and no one will show up. So I went into the actual Bestbuy store and complained about no one showing up and he said that it won't happened again but it happened 3 more times when no one showed up. So eventually I asked for my money back for the Sony TV because I was so frustrated that no one was showing up to replace my defective Sony TV. Once I got my money back I said I will give it another try and purchased the same TV again, the Sony x900h 85" TV. I got the the Sony x900h 85" and it was having issues also, so I decided to try a different TV the LG CX 77" oled tv to replace the Sony x900h TV, so I paid the $957 difference in price to get the LG CX 77" TV with a warranty. But the delivered date from the time I purchased it was so far apart that I eventually fixed the Sony x900h and decided to keep it and cancel my LG CX 77" TV and it's warranty. I never received the LG CX 77" tv. But since I ordered the LG CX 77" TV, Bestbuy canceled my warranty on my Sony x900h 85" TV. I was refunded the $950 that I paid for the difference for the TV amount but I was never refunded the money for my warranty which was $399. So now I still have the same Sony x900h 85" TV with no warranty that originally purchased. I called Bestbuy several times to either get my warranty reinstalled or get a refund on the $399 so that I could repurchase my warranty for my Sony x900h 85" TV. So I decided to go into the same Bestbuy store. I was waiting at the Cash register while two managers were just talking to each other about cars and random things for about 10 mins, as they just stared at me without even helping me. Eventually I talked with someone at Geek Squad at this Bestbuy store which eventually two of the managers argued with me about this situation, I was just trying to explained to them that I was suppose to receive a refund or reinstate my warranty for the Sony x900h 85" TV. That argument with two managers occurred on July 8 2021. I felt disrespected and humiliated. I've spent hours on the phone and at the store without any proper support. Please help me resolve this issue.
