    Protection plan for 5 years find it great option, you never know what could happen. Used it before in other articles and they act fast.

    If you can, I recommend getting Geek Squad protection on electronics such as tv's. A few years ago, I purchased a smart tv for my son and had it for about a year before it completely went kaputt. It always had issues toggling properly through the apps and would sometimes take ten minutes switching from one app to the other. Luckily, I did purchase Geek Squad protection and was able to get another tv since there was no way of fixing that one. We went with a different brand and have had no issues since.

    We have had Geek Squad for quite a few years now and they do very good work. If they can fix it they will. And if they can't fix it they will tell you that also. We took in an old computer and they told us they couldn't fix it. That's the way it should be. It's worth the money you spend for it.

    This screen protector is fantastic and I wish I could rate it 6 stars. In a horrific chain of events I tragically dropped my phone from approximately 4 3/4 feet directly onto cold hard pavement littered with gravel. (Dropped it out my car window) I hesitantly exited my vehicle and then proceeded to step directly on top of the phone which was screen side down. To my dismay I observed multiple cracks on the screen of my almost new iPhone 8. I then did the drive of shame back home where I could more closely observe the catastrophic damage to my phone screen. I slowly pulled it out of my pocket as a single tear ran down my face. Suddenly I was overcome with an epiphany. I had purchased and installed this glass protector on my phone. Is it possible that my screen was still intact? Is it possible that this 8 dollar product saved me from replacing my entire screen? I slowly peeled back the screen and was filled with joy. I haven't felt joy like this since I opened up my Nintendo 64 one 1990's Christmas morning. My screen was unscathed. I snapped a picture of the decimated screen cover, and gave it a proper viking burial. Thank you for your service tempered glass screen protector.The description of "ultra clear" is truthful: the clarity of my phone screen isn't at all diminished with it on. Because I have an iPhone 7, no protector can cover the entirety of the screen; this does, however, cover the entire flat part of the screen, unlike other protectors I've tried which were very visibly 1mm too short. The protector also doesn't cause any issues with functionality - touch sensitivity, 3D touch etc. all feel unchanged. The surface feels really smooth to the touch.

    We purchased one of these 5 year warranties along with a 75” Hisense tv. Exactly at the 2 year mark, the tv died. It was a bad panel and main board. Once the panel is damaged, they just give you a credit towards a replacement as panels are not repairable. 2 phone calls later and a new tv was ordered for exchange. 2 days later I had the replacement in home. Easy Peasy… Note: They gave me a current day replacement credit towards a direct replacement of what I originally purchased. That total was higher than the original purchase price with tax and warranty. I can’t say that this will apply to all but, it worked out well for me. I then decided to upgrade and the full exchange value was applied to the new tv. This ended up being a great deal. My new lg qned tv is now hanging up and I took another warranty to protect my investment as well. The cost seems high but, it is well worth it when you are planning on buying a large tv as it comes with in home service.

    Geek squad is amazing and Best Buy has treated me so well through the whole buying process. Even having to return a couple defective TVs. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this because of the white glove service. Even with other options like SquareTrade available.

    I usually get the geek squad protection whenever I buy anything. I made a mistake one time and didn’t get it and lo and behold. I needed it and I will never purchase anything with a big dollar value without the geek squad protection ever again.

    I purchased a protection plan along with a TV purchase to ensure I had a working and functional TV for at least 5 years. The purchased TV was the high end of the brand at the time and we've enjoyed it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same regarding the protection plan. In my first year, we ran into issues with the TV. It was under manufacturers warranty, so they covered a motherboard replacement. Within a few weeks of the manufacturers warranty ending, ran into more issues with the TV. This is the reason I purchased the protection plan and thought I was covered. It was easy getting someone out to inspect and determine another motherboard replacement was needed. That was during my last week of my remote job. I have since started a new job that's 45mins away. I communicated this and the technician said it wasn't a problem and scheduled a Saturday appointment. The date rolls around and no communication from Best Buy all day. I call and am told no agent was assigned and would escalate my issue. It cascaded downhill more and more from here. I had a total of 5 escalations and >12 interactions with Best Buy customer service via chat, call, and in store. Then I'm finally told by someone at corporate that they don't have Saturday appointments in my area and said I should take PTO. It's a new job that I haven't received any PTO yet, so the rep was basically putting me in position to call out sick and hurt my reputation and employment status with this employer. I ask about options like exchanging or returning for store credit and was told that's not an option because they haven't gotten a chance to fix it. They won't work with you for Saturday appointments. So I've been stuck with a malfunctioning TV for months and am told my only option was to mail a complaint to corporate. I mailed a letter to corporate and still haven't received any type of communication. I've been a long time customer of Best Buy. Very disappointed by this situation and I feel cheated being stuck with a malfunctioning TV. Why would I ever shop at Best Buy again after an experience like this?
