I purchased this 5yr extended warranty because my last tv crapped out after 3 1/2 yrs. I also had the extended warranty on that tv. Geek Squad was unable to repair the tv so they replaced it with a brand new comparable model. They made everything simple, installed the new tv and removed the old one. I would highly recommend purchasing the extended warranty for any high end model tv. One year standard warranty isnt enough.

In today's complex electronic world, I wanted the protection and a hassle-free way to deal with the problems we experience from time to time. I haven't had to use it yet, but it brings me comfort to know I can get help when I need it.

I bought a TV that started flickering and having major screen issues right after the manufacturer’s warranty expired (of course). I took it back to the store and hey we’re able to send it out because I bought the extra coverage. It took a couple of weeks to diagnose but they contacted me today to tell me that they’re refunding me (in the form of a gift card) what I paid for the TV to put towards any purchase from Best Buy. This is why I buy extended/ enhanced warranties on most electronics. Most of these companies that administer these warranties are very reputable and honor claims that fall within the parameters of the coverage. Most people have unreasonable expectations and suffer from a sense of entitlement the size of a house and therefore claim that these types of coverage are “scams” or “Rip offs” because they fail to take a moment to actually find out what is covered and how the claims procedures work. Frank Zappa once said “Stupidity has a certain charm. Ignorance does not.” Nowhere is that more true than the world of the entitled consumer. Buy the warranty or don’t complain because almost all electronics these days are designed to fail.

TV got here safe and sound without any breaks in the display.

Best Buy (Geek Squad) honors their warranty. I've bought this warranty for each of my kids laptops when they go into college. I have one who tends to have issues with her machines. In every case, Best Buy has honored the warranty and fixed or replaced the machine. Awesome Job Geek Squad!

I've used Geek Squad twice. The first time they repaired my television on site (my home), the technicians both times brought their own folding tables and cloths to my residence, the second time the parts were no longer available so the technician had Best Buy credit me for a replacement Television. I highly recommend this service. I just bought a 50" bedroom TV (Dec 12, 2023), and guess what I added on as a Just In Case...Geek Squad coverage! My thanks and respect to all of the unsung technicians that Best Buy utilizes to make their warranty incredible.

I have t had to use this product but I have peace of mind knowing that if a lightning strike effected my tv it would be covered .

I got this tv as a result oh my geek squad protection on my LG tv. I have bought the protection in the past and they stand by the agreement 100%

I bought the extra insurance in case anything unforseen happens to my electronics I don't make much money, so I can't afford to replace things all the time.

I researched for MONTHS and purchased the Samsung 65" Class Q90T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV, Model: QN65Q90TAFXZA and I wanted the extended warranty for peace of mind on my investment. Best Buy has the Best Extended Warranties of ALL the retailers and I highly recommend them with your very expensive purchases. I service & repair TV's for a living and I know 1st hand how these things fail and it sure is nice when you have an extended warranty on your expensive investment. Especially if you have an LED Backlight failure. It is not cheap however I highly recommend it over an expensive out-of-warranty service cost. I do NOT want to have to service or repair my own brand-new $2k Q-LED TV should it fail within 5 years! On my other cheaper bedroom sets I did not purchase a warranty. But I highly recommend them on your higher-end more expensive purchases!
