They came over to fix our brand new TV. They said it was fixed and the very next day the problem came back.

I recommend this for most purchases. It’s worth the money on a big purchase. Just know that it does NOT cover physical damage. I learned that the hard way. No matter how it happens it’s not covered at all.

Would I get the plan again next time, I am not sure. While it is great to have that insurance, we have gone over a year without an issue and wonder if we spent the money for nothing. It is not a knock on the plan itself, as we just got a great product

When buying the protection, I asked if it covered the screen and was told yes. What I wasn't told was it doesn't cover damage to the screen itself. I would not have gotten it knowing that. For tv protection, I would not recommend.

I guess let’s see if I get a prorated refund and then I will give a review as I buy a protection plan on all of my items

TV stopped working after one year. I had the 5 year "protection" plan that should have repaired or replaced my TV free of charge. They offered me store credit less than the value of the replacement.

THIS WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT VALUE IF IT COVERED ALL THE PRODUCTS THAT YOU PURCHASED FROM BEST BUY SAY WITHIN A YEARS TIME OF EACH OTHER. BUT YOU HAVE TO GET IT ON EACH ITEM, NOT SO GOOD

PURCHASED A TV END IF APRIL. RETURNED FROM A VACATION MID MAY AND IT LOOKED AS IF THE TV SHATTERED ON THE INSIDE. TOOK THE ITEM TO THE HARRISONBURG VA LOCATION AND THE "GENTLEMAN" AT THE GEEK SQUAD DESK WAS RIDICULOUSLY CONDESCENDING AND RUDE. I TOLD HIM THAT MY SON TURNED IT ON WHEN HE RETURNED FROM VACATION ANS IT LOOKED AS IF IT WAS SHATTERED ON THE INSIDE. HE SAOD SHATTERED SCREENS ARE NOT COVERED AND LOOKED BACK DOWN AT HIS PHONE. I ASKED WHAT COULD BE DONE TO REPLACE IT WOTH THE GEEK SQUAD 5 YEAR WARRANTY... HIS REPLY WAS... YOU COULD RECYCLE IT AND GAVE A HALF SMUG SMILE. WHAT IS THE POINT OF GEEK SQUAD IF THEY ACT LIKE GARBAGE. CUSTOMER LOST.
