I guess this is a good purchase but I instantly regret it after. Got suckered by the sales person. Samsung is a good product. Had some of my devices for years. I plan to buy another Samsung TV and will not add the protection no matter how much they pressure me...

I purchased geek squad protection for a TV that was defaulted. I only had the TV for 3 months, They exchanged the TV but would not transfer or refund any amount for the protection. I have to pay another $80 for a protection that was Best Buy problem not mine.

It was fine. It won't change your world, but it works.

Does not really work that well all things considered. For $100 its a joke

They say that you're covered from the time that you buy the extended warranty bull. I was having a problem with my TV brought it to the attention of Best Buy geek squad and they said I had to go through the manufacturer's warranty the first year and then after the geek squad they would not help me at all.

The worst 100 dollar warranty for tv larger than 42 inches take my tv to best buy with receipt to exchange can't i have to set appointment for to come your house took over 2 weeks make sure u not lying about your broke tv then set another appointment that took over a week to come back to your house to fix it

We purchased the protection plan because the sales rep told us it coveted accidental damage. Our TV was dropped while moving it. This protection DOES NOT cover damage to the screen. Had we known it didn't really cover accidents, we would have stuck with the manufacturer warranty

Absolute rip off I did a three year on my laptop (luckily I'm tech savvy and cloned the OEM m.2 solid state hard drive to a Samsung Evo 1 TB. Well the point is I came in with a problem I was getting blue screens with a :-( saying problem and I kept boot looping and they said the only thing we cover is cracked screens or external damage no software problems When I purchased it I specifically asked if they do internal and external damage they said yes.

I haven't received or had to use yet but I'm sure it is good.

I have purchased 4 flat screen TV's from BB, I also purchased protect plan for all of them, however when I needed said protection I was told it does not cover cracked screens. I was told when I purchased the TV's AND two computers I was told that the protection plan covered 'EVERYTHING I COULD POSSIBLY THROW AT IT". They even have advertisements on their website that the plans cover everything. Monday when I needed to use the protection I paid for they tell me, "sorry but it does not cover cracked screen". I know dozens of other people that have been told the same thing about the protection plans and the same thing happened to them. Best Buy used to be the only place I considered when making a purchase of any type of electronics, NO MORE BestBuy, you have lost a very loyal customer.

Good option to protect your appliances for at least a few years

Gimmick. Everything is "bring it in" .... "make an appointment." Best Buy closed in my neighborhood so nearest store is 20 miles away!!!! I'm so disappointed with the experience on my expensive gaming laptop that barely lasted 2 years. This is my second or third bad experience with Geek Squad, but baring the unforeseen, my last.

Really never had to use it just the initial time when purchased it. Had a problem when I purchase home office I mistakenly deleted the install email when I call geek square to resent the email they wouldn’t due to membership expiring and indicated just to resend email I had to re-purchase membership. So I informed them to refund my money for the purchase of office home and brought it from Amazon instead.

No direct support number and automated menu keeps disconnecting you if you have a item that cannot be repaired by a technician.

I bought this just to be safe. I am hoping that I never need it.
