You can't go wrong with the GS accident protection plan. It pretty much covers any accident. If you get any gear at Best Buy at all, get the accident plan. Best case scenario is that you'll never need it

Protection is a must when purchasing a TV. They are not cheap. Small price to pay for the protection you receive.

I bought the Geek Squad service plan for my new Insignia 55" 4K Roku TV. Modern electronics don't seem to last as long as they used to (the TV that this one replaced was a Panasonic 32" that served me well for 15 years). Hope I won't have to use it, but I thought it was reasonable insurance.

Have used the Geek service protection for years. It is always helpful to know that you have someone there who can take care of your requirements promptly!
