I gave it 3 stars because they no longer cover accidental damage. Plus it’s still pretty expensive. Made the warranty more worth it. I know extended warranties are a waste of money. But I wanted it for the peace of mind because I spent so much on my tv. Hopefully Best Buy won’t screw me over when it comes time to use it.

Purchased the 2-year Geek Squad protection for my Samsung 50-inch TV haven't had no need to use it so that's why I'm only giving it a three star rating but if I did have any issues at least I'll be protected by The Geek Squad protection plan very reasonably price for the 2-year plan would recommend for peace of mind.

Mind at ease with this new 5 year back up plan. Have until 2023 to repair my tv

I purchased the 5 year extended warranty on my Bravia TV. A few months after purchase the TV was damaged during a lightning storm and stopped working. Best Buy would not replace and told me to contact the manufacturer. I did so and the manufacturer immediately replaced the TV; however they replaced it with a different comparable TV. The problem is that the 5yr warranty is on the original TV. I have made repeated attempts to have the warranty updated to reflect the information for the replacement TV all to no avail. No one at Best Buy can or will help me. I have made so many calls and spent countless hours on the phone and even went to the store. Most of the customer representatives speak English as a second language and could not even understand the problem. No one would connect me to a supervisory and usually they would just transfer to another department and I had to start all over again explaining and getting no where. I have finally given up and can only hope that nothing goes wrong with the TV. I’m so frustrated and angry with this company. It’s not the first time I’ve had problems with them but it is the last time I make any major purchase with them and I will never buy one of their warranties again. Very disappointed but not surprised. I would give them negative stars if I could.

Getting protection on your device is the most important thing to do incase something goes wrong

Tv died as soon as contract ended so upsetting right before Xmas

This is an amazing offer from Best Buy, It extends protection out beyond the first year.

They say they will come to my house if there is a problem with my TV. I called with a problem I noticed when I brought the TV home and they asked me to bring it back. It is not easy transporting a 75" TV so I will wait for a real problem that is not cosmetic.

Tv was never delivered !!! I waited all day for my delivery and they didn’t call or show up with my product I paid for.

It's not the item but the Service I needed, really. I guess that's a problem all over but I did pay full price and they had no time for questions.

This insurance for the Samsung Smart TV is great, I feel relieved that I'm covered for 5 years.

I heard they are good at what they do. Have had the opportunity to use their services.

I got the protection just in case something were to happen..I haven't had to use it yet.
