I haven't had to use it yet but it's good to have on standby just in case.

I haven't had to use the protection plan yet because the TV is still new and working fine but I will say that previous experiences with other items were good experiences. So much that when I wanted "piece of mind" about the purchase of my new TV, The Geek Squad protection was clearly the best choice.

5 year Geek squad protection is an important addtion to have when you buy a new TV. They will come to your house to fix it and if it can't be fixed they will replace the TV with a TV with dollar amount up to what you paid for the TV.

Have had to use this protection twice and both times was a pleasant experience, I believe it is better to have the protection and not need it than to need it and not have it, honestly I can recommend getting the extended warranty, without hesitation

Great price and excellent picture. The 4k channels are amazing. I purchased the 5 year warranty at a reasonable price. I’ve used these warranties from Best Buy in the past and TV was replaced.

My last TV died in about 4 years, I am relieved to have the protection plan. The Geek squad was very helpful in trying fix the TV.

The Geek squad team is very thorough and patient when explaining and deciphering whatever problem you may have. In my case, it was my old tv. They got a team to come take a look at my problem in less then a week (during COVID-19) and were very sanitary and took necessary precautions while in my home. They wasted no time and corrected the problem very quickly. They were in and out in 10 minutes (I mean it) Bravo, y’all are bomb. Get an insurance plan guys, because it didn’t cost me a thing (or a deductible) and they’re smart and fast. Do it.

They met me outside under special circumstances, I had just been released from the hospital. They loaded it into my car as well.

If you determine that you want to take care of a device for a certain amount of time, and you decide the price is right for that item, then nothing beats Geek Squad coverage. If they can’t troubleshoot your problem, they will send a technician to repair it. If they can’t repair it or determine it not to be cost effective to do so, they replace your item within the time period for your coverage. I don’t get it on everything, but for something I know I’m going to be trying to use for 5+ years, it really doesn’t make sense to forego this coverage long term.

Geek Squad is very much worth getting. They are fantastic and always ready to help pretty quickly. Definitely recommend.

The agents mounted my TV and installed all my speakers and hooked up my subwoofer, Satellite DVD, and all my extras in every room, they also went an extra step and were able to have the cords come out near the electric plugs so the wires were not hanging everywhere. Very professional job and they were very nice during the process.

Strongly recommend this if you are purchasing an oled tv. I recently had to use mine for burn in on an oled tv. Best Buy took care of it with no issue.

Seems to be a great service but forewarning, you must pay separate for each item you want covered.

Got it for protection as my last tv was done after a ppwer outtage at the 3 year mark

TV has some wobbly frames that needed to be repaired. But other than that it's perfect
